I’m really shocked that they couldn’t sack Peyton even once. That’s a bad sign for the rest of the league. We already knew the Chiefs weren’t going to put up more than 20 points, but not getting to Peyton? That’s surprising.

Chiefs didn’t deserve to win after all the dropped passes and the fumble right after the D set the table for them.
Denver has too many weapons at WR/TE, so any blitz or blown coverage leads to Peyton exploiting it in 3 seconds, then telling the DB “You can watch that highlight on your phone if you have DirectTV, bitch.”

I think the Chiefs will reset themselves and come back after this loss though. Team just wasn’t ready for primetime yet, and who could blame them? Now they got the experience.
But again, Alex Smith needs to start developing better as a QB otherwise I wouldn’t be surprised if the Fatman went and made a move during the offseason.

that game just convinced me for real. alex smith cant take the chiefs anywhere. even the jaguars put up points on the broncos, but alex smith just cant move the ball. he keeps looking for dump off passes, broncos batted them down all night. they need to practice more deep plays, receivers dropping them or alex being inaccurate, either way they need to open up that offense and fix those problems. defense can only take them so far.

Honestly, he probably does that if not for the fact that Foles is lighting it up. If Foles tanks the last couple of games, maybe he can sneak him.
