D.Carr got way more LEGIT starts, the same o-coordinator and a host of other things in his favor in comparison to A.Smith
A.Smith has shown he has the ability to lead his team from behind with the right play calling, every QB cant be Peyton,Brady and Breesus.
QB’s who don’t call all the plays aren’t garbage either, outside Gore,the man hasn’t had a legit go too option, he hasn’t been the legit starter for 6 years either, he’s just been on the team 6 years, yea V.Davis is the man but hell last year they were considering dumping him and benched him multiple times and he STILL TIED for the most TD’s in the league.
A.Smith is really one of the least worries, if the play calling through out the game was like it was during those two no huddle drives, then the niners would live closer to expectations

i’m not sure why you keep bringing up who calls the plays, but smith has a better running game, better o-line and worst stats. just comparing best/worst seasons, i’d rather take david carr. you can say the niners were getting blown out all the time, yet gore still got his touches combined with the fact garbage completions/yards is the easiest way to pad a QBs stats i’m not really seeing your argument.
