these dropped passes by the eagles receivers these last few games have realllyyyy hurt them

Eat a DICK, David Akers. Seriously, I hope you’re done in Philly after this. You better make a clutch game winner if you want to stay, bitch.

Game over

This^ But, he didn’t make any clutch kicks. So, f him.

Bring on them Bears then for that rematch. I predict 14 sacks on Cutler and him out with a concussionated throwing leg. All in the 1st quarter.

Seems we got the Packers huh. They seem pretty dangerous. Gonna be a rough one.

Believe it’s Packers/Falcons.

Ridiculous how close that game was. Akers misses like a 30 yard FG, Celek has half a foot out of bounds which makes the 2pt conversion not count. Packers definitely got a lot of bounces their way, hope they continue to get that sort of assistance in Atlanta :stuck_out_tongue:

Honestly, I like Vick and had he not face Green Bay would have been rooting for him, but them Packers have a special place in my heart and I love it that they are going to get a chance to go deeper into the playoffs and hopefully go to the Super Bowl.

Also I hope either the Ravens or Steelers are the AFC champion because I hate both the Patriots and Jets.

yup…those 2 fg would’ve had the game tied.

Silly rabbit Bunny is taking about the rematch between the Seahawks and Bears.

Wishful thinking, to bad its not gonna happen.

It’s gonna be another close, hellish game in the GA Dome. Hopefully the week’s rest will be a boon and not a burden.

Fuckin’ Akers…

actually if it wasnt for that dropped TD pass by jones it would have been 21 -3 at half time.

welp. time to jump on the seahawks bandwagon now.

Rodgers’ receivers certainly haven’t been doing him any favors, that’s for sure. Very tough game that could’ve gone either way. If Starks shows up again next week, I like our chances as our defense has been playing lights out the last few weeks.

Also… we paid Akers off. Sorry Philly fans.

Finally this Vick talk can stop.

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck

I take it you wanted your Falcons to square off against the Eagles. Funny, this is the type of reaction (based off what I’ve read from blogs, forums, and comments sections) that many Eagles fans had re: playing the Packers, and I suspect that many more Falcons’ fans are going to echo your sentiments.

In actuality, the Eagles gameplanned against the Packers perfectly. They held Rodgers to under 200 yards passing + only 4 yards rushing, Greg Jennings to a single 8 yard reception, no Packer receiver caught for more than 60 yards, and they created multiple turnovers between defense and special teams. Akers missed 2 makeable field goals and the Eagles still had a good chance at winning the game in the final minute.

The X factor(s), obviously, was not only James Starks rushing for 123 yards (with a couple 15+ yarders sprinkled in), but the Packers run defense shut the Eagles running attack down completely. Even with Cullen Jenkins playing, I didn’t see that one coming at all.

Now that the surprise of Starks is gone, I suspect the Falcons will be much better prepared for a two-dimensional attack from the Packers. Although I will say this, even without a supporting run game helping him, Rodgers absolutely shredded the Falcons’ soft pass defense in Week 12; 25/36 for 344 yards (74.3% comp. rate, 9.8ypc), 2 total TDs, 12 rushes for 51 yards. And that was with the Falcons defense keying in on him solely.

Hahaha time to prove to the Bears that Week 6 in their own backyard wasn’t a fluke! The Greatest Show on Turf allows for concussions!

And on a side note:

I am enjoying this packers victory, so many people wanted to see vick vs falcons, soooo many people just straight up thought that vick was superior to the packers, even though vick is just one man…

anyways, time for the packers to prepare for the falcons, it will be a tough game, but i am confident the packers can pull this one out, GO PACK GO!!!
