I’m not trying to downplay Pennington or Brown’s importance. Pennington did play impressively well, and really showed off what he was always capable of, if he was in a positive environment. We already knew that Brown was super-talented.

I’m just saying that you could take a list of all the coaches and coordinators on the Dolphins and cross their names of the list and put in “Bill Parcells” and it’d be pretty accurate.

And they shouldn’t bother with Vick. They already have Pat White and Chad Henne. White is a better passer than Vick, and it wont be a PR nightmare.

How many starting qb’s would you take over Tony Romo?

For me it’d be Peyton, Brees, Brady, Rivers. He put up a lot of numbers with T.O. but I think he has enough skills that he can thrive without him.

First of all, Brady is a fake…

Brady is a fake what?

Right now QBs I would take over Romo:

Brady
Peyton
Mac 5
Drew Brees

Look I have said it several times I am not a Romo fan, he cares to much about hollywood then football. He is still a very good QB when he gives a shit.

I have no respect for any patriot after spygate…

Especially Bellichik and Brady…

Fucking pussy…

Because of this ***, Tom Brady, A defensive player can’t go for a player while he is on the ground…

Like this mother fucker, Brady, is so important to the NFL that we have to change the rules for this bitch…

He was out the whole season and noone fucking cared…

God i can’t stand that motherfucker…

I hope he throws 50 ints…

Like that bullshit record matters…

Manning threw 49 Td’s because he HAD to throw them bithces…

Brady was still in the game up by 40 points with 2 minutes to play still throwing td passes…

Fucking Pussy…

Have some respect for the game…

I bet if the 90’s cowboys pulled that gay ass shit aikmen would have 50 td’s too…

Talking bout them bitches is the greatest team ever…

I tell you what ELI and TYREE put an end to all that faggotry…

You saw Brady so desperate to heave it to Moss at the end of that Game…:rofl::rofl:

All that time throwin to Moss for Bullshit TD’s when it DIDN’T FUCKING MATTER cuz you up by 657 points…

When it REALLY counted look how great they were…

PUSSIES…

Well that explains a lot.

…riiiighhtttttttt.

:xeye:

…he’d still be a great athlete. he could play RB or WR.:xeye:

…and yes, they already have Pat White; it’d be redundant to pick up another option-type run first/throw second QB.

Vick would have to be slotted in another role. It’d be funny to see him on Special Teams, but it’s possible! He’s just too athletic to not find a home…even Detroit could use a another WR or RB. Fuck, anything.

…if some team will just pick up him for dirt-cheap, he’d be a steal. If he has one successful year, all sins are forgiven, and people will forget about the dumb dogs. And yes, I said “dumb dogs”; it’s the NFL, not a dog show…lol.

QBs better than Romo:

Eli Manning
Big Ben (The best QB out of the STACKED 04 Draft Class. Look at his numbers if you think I’m bullshitting)
Philip Rivers
Kurt Warner (this man is a mutant)
Pennington
Jake Delhomme

Romo has had HUGE talent surrounded by him and can’t win a playoff game. Dude isn’t good, he’s a backup in a starters position.

NFL.com seems to have the most accurate list:

  1. Brady
  2. Peyton
  3. McNabb
  4. Big Ben
  5. Brees

My mistake for forgetting Roethlisberger. I’d definitely take him over Tony Romo. Kurt Warner’s ancient. I don’t think he’ll hold up for much longer behind that mediocre Cardinals offensive line. It’s funny how this time last year Chad Pennington was this close to being out of the league and now he’s great again. There’s no way I’d take Delhomme or Eli over Romo.

This whole can’t win a playoff game argument is lame. Romo’s only played in 2 of them. 2 games isn’t enough to make a determination of anything. I remember when people said the same thing about Peyton Manning and he lost his first 3 playoff games. Eventually the cream rose to the top and Peyton Manning finally won in the playoffs and even managed to win a Super Bowl. Imagine that. A talented player who won in the regular season also winning in the postseason.

If Tony Romo has the skills the wins will come or they won’t. Judging singular players by wins and losses is bad enough but to have 2 games define a person’s career is ludicrous. Personally I think the past 40 or so regular season games provide more data for his abilities than 2 games in the playoffs.

Speaking of Tony Homo, he just dumped Jessica Simpson a day before her birthday haha.

LOL seriously?:shy:

The League took Spygate very lightly imo

You can’t just look at potential. Or just regular season wins. Otherwise, let’s throw Matt Ryan in there. You don’t talk about the people who MIGHT do shit, you talk about the people who HAVE done shit. Delhomme has taken his team to the SB already. So has McNabb. Only 1 QB w/very little playoff victories and is a freak of nature and that’s Drew Brees. And he is an EXCELLENT leader. He can’t play defense either. Romo, has a GREAT defense for 3 years now?

-Warner has been consistent. We are not looking at tomorrow, but today. I guarantee he will put up retarded numbers again considering Boldin/Fitzgerald are back again, you can’t doubt him.

-Romo had TO. Jason Witten. A great offensive line. And a supposed “genius” of an OC. Oh yeah, a great running game. 3 years in a row. You also had Lord Parcells one of those years. The dumbass bobbles a snap and they lose the game. That just SCREAMS Champion to me, sure. And yes, we were tough on Peyton until he got his ring (or at least a playoff win). When (or if) Romo does this, we will think differently. Until then, he’s a backup in a starters position. Don’t just look at stats, look at how his team responds to him and how he can lead his team to victory. Eli has already proven he can. What Eli did in 1 playoff run, Romo has yet to even scratch the surface. Any NFL Head Coach would rather have a proven winner vs a stat guy who loves the limelight over working hard w/his teammates.

-Chad Pennington is a 2 time Comeback Player of the Year. Dude is mentally tough as shit and an EXCELLENT leader. I guarantee you if he would have been on that Jets team last year w/that mega offensive line, he would have taken them to the playoffs. Look at his accuracy rating, it speaks for itself

Seriously.He did

Yeah Antonio should LEARN to keep the other head out of the game.

Cutler, Ryan, Roethlisberger.

heh. Rivers blows Romo out of the fuckin water and he’s barely makin anyones lists over Romo.

Take before Romo?

In no particular order…

Rothlisburger
Brees
Brady - monowear, you sir, are really trippin.
McNabb
P. Manning
Jeff Garcia - I know he’s not a starter. But he will be before the end of the season. And even if he’s not, I’d still take him.
Cutler
Carson Palmer
Chad Pennington

Again. I see no Philip Rivers.

you are really trippin.
