Apparently you don’t believe in learning lessons… and you don’t seem to grasp the basic effect of what motivation and disrespect does to players, like it will do to the Miami Heat. That’s fine. My team’s “future” isn’t dictated by 10-year spans of doing nothing like your team, or the Cavs, or the Knicks. Miami builds contenders every couple of years, as they’ve done for 3 decades. Get a clue, KD; you can’t misplace historical facts as delusion here.

Rondo/Kobe/Lance? They’d put the fear of GOD into people. I still like the Rondo/Kobe pairing, espeiclaly since Rondo isn’t a score first type - I can see him gelling with Kobe better than people would give credit. They also seem built from a similar cloth.

I don’t expect much from him at all, the only reason I like it is because they didn’t overpay him like injury prone Jordan Hill. I wanted us to go after Bledsoe this off-season but…
I would have like that as well and that combination was possible with the money we had this off-season, most people don’t like Lance, but he’s young and he has plenty of time to change.
Ed Davis doesn’t look all that mobile but he can finish pretty well.

Ed Davis is a solid player. Toronto and their judge of talent is awful. Then he had to play behind Z-Bo and Darrell Arthur in Memphis. Any time he got 28-30 minutes he was a beast. His per 36 min stats make him an automatic double double.
He signed a shorter deal @ 9 so he’ll be able to re-up in his prime.
Also, you’re making assumptions about Indiana. It’s happening in slow motion, but the team is blowing up. Hibbert is on he trading block, they lost their #2 guy, and their bench was already WEAK sauce. They are going down while CHA is going up. And with his addition, someone like MKG can be moved for a SHOOTER, which would make CHA REALLY damn good.

You’re right about me making assumptions, I don;t really know what the Hornets are doing(I just love the fact Charlotte has the hornets again though), but the Pacers are the #2 in the east with Chicago down and the Heat now kingless. Larry Bird is too good a basketball mind to let Indiana not take this golden opportunity.
