Now I’m wondering, in hindsight, how much GSW really wanted Kevin Love. Regardless of Kevin Love really wanted only to go to Cleveland. Someone in the org. had to slap the owner or something to tell him Kevin Love isn’t worth it. He probably wouldn’t fit the system, and wouldn’t be any more of a difference than- already a GSW All-Star, David Lee - whole year of offense run thru him was a 20 point guy, but no waves in the playoffs from lack of a complete team or him creating enough. Not much different than Kevin Love in Minnesota, except the still making the playoffs part. Like how do you build around Kevin Love, can he be option 1. Klay Thompson, watching him out there, its easy to forget how big he is, which helps defensively, and he makes stronger more direct moves to the basket that don’t get stopped often, than Curry and his Horse shots; game 4 he went nuts too as a 1 man comeback.
Last season old guys note for @SadQuotes - Corey Maggette, monster all time FTA per game great - for whatever the fuck reason refs really liked him, tried out for the Spurs. If he didn’t make the team, he would retire. They go on to Win the Championship. He was probably at home like TMAC watching that. T-Mac frown.gif where the final score comes up in slow mo.
