Watch the tapes? Look at his stats? Have YOU done those things? 5 NBA championships, 3rd All Time Leading Scorer, 2 Olympic Gold Medals, and overall being one of the clutchest players the league has ever seen. Ok, fair enough. But here’s a fair question. Lebron still has several years of basketball to play. Do you not see him getting near, if not, outright passing Jordan’s legacy? Just an honest question, I’m not favoring any particular side.

Nobody will surpass Jordan’s legacy. He has the most flawless basketball resume possible.

NCAA championship. 6-0 in the Finals with 6 Finals MVPs. Rookie of the Year. Defensive player of the Year. Scoring titles. MVPs. Allstar every year of his career. Allstar MVPs. #1 all-time NBA ppg average.

He’s literally won every award except Most Improved Player.

Some guys will score more points or have more allstar appearances. LeJudas might even match him in MVPs. But they’ll never have the complete body of work that Jordan’s career ended as.

They play two entirely different games/styles for one. Two, LeBron has greatly benefited from watching how Kobe and Jordan handled their careers/teams/owners/fans/media, and has adjusted his style accordingly to fit himself.

I mean on the Eastern side who can challenge lebron and the Cavs? From my view the Bucks are still an upcoming and young team, the knicks will be bad for awhile (I want Phil Jackson gone as en executive) the heat can make things interesting but they need a better bench, and ugh damn it to hell. Look at the caliber of teams and players Jordan consistently shut out of conference finals/championships… We’re talking all-time greats like Stockton and Malone, Kemp and Payton, Barkley, Ewing, Drexler, Olajuwon… Players and teams who would’ve been multiple time World Champs if Jordan and the Bulls weren’t constantly standing in the way.
