I realized I never put myself for any teams. Put me down for Phoenix and Orlando.
I just a lurker so put me down for Houston and Orlando.
Kyrie is a fool. He should’ve took a four year deal and a opt out in case Cavs don’t get their shit together, which is likely. Now he’ll be rotting for 5-6 years.
You see when you take these deals, you always should have a player option or an ETO in case your franchise is gonna fuck up and Kyrie dun goofed by not having either of those.
Kyrie must have had something in his water when he agreed to stay.
It is Cleveland after all.
usually the FA deadline is full of rushed negotiations and bad deals… it seems like everyone is much more patient, maybe a product of the new CBA…
EXCEPT for kyrie. he must really have faith that his relationship with waiters gets better, and that the front office is actually going to be able to make moves for the first time since… ever?
or else, he’s gonna have to uncle drew recruit players in real life.
Kyrie’s extending so he and Wiggins can leave and sign with Toronto at the same time.
or kyrie is signing to lure lebron to cleveland
Or maybe he’s a 22 year old kid that saw $90 million and was like “SOLD!”
Yeah but why not ask for a player option or even an ETO?
Put me down for the Lakers.
I felt bad for kyrie cause he’s stuck in that wasteland but the fact he decided to stay in that wasteland? Damn…
Anybody else think the Suns have an actual legit shot at grabbing LeBron and Carmelo since they will pretty much give them both what they want.
Put me down for the Sixers.
Crappy representation. Again, it’s always about leverage. Cleveland had none, Kyrie had all of it and allowed it to go to waste.
Kyrie re-signing just keeps whatever small glimmer of hope they have alive. To even get his attention they need to do more than that. Right now they have a bunch of young guys who barely got along last season w/ no playoff experience. Adding LBJ isn’t suddenly going to make them a favorite to even win the East.
Also remember - Cleveland won more games when Kyrie was out of the lineup last season. Say what you want about Waiters, but dude can ball and reports say he has zero respect for Kyrie and his utter lack of leadership despite being crowned The Man in Cleveland.
Put me down as a fan of whoever wins next year’s Finals
I don’t think Bron is going there.
Melo maybe but I think he wants to stay in the east since its easier making it to the playoffs
The Suns are fools gold, just like they’ve always been because they don’t play defense.
LBJ is not going into a situation where improvement is needed, especially in the West. The only team in West that makes sense given the higher level of competition is the Clippers.
Everything falling into place.
P.S., fuck the Knicks.
As much as I disliked the Heat’s Big 3 in the beginning, I have to give them props for taking huge paycuts to continue winning. I hope it sends a message to players.
I’m doing the opposite from the stuff I’ve been reading Bosh wants either a starting salary of $11-12 Million for 5 years and Wade wants either $10-12 Million for 4 years.
If those are the numbers with the 7.5% raises their entitled to under the CBA for re-signing with the Heat.
Bosh would get either:
5yr/64M - staring salary $11Million
5yr/69M - starting salary $12 Million
Making on average $7.6-9.6 Million per average over his additional 3 years because he opted out of 2 yr/40 Million.
Wade would get either:
4yr/44M - staring salary $10 Million
4yr/53M - starting salary $12 Million
Making on average $2-6.5 Million per average over his additional 3 years because he opted out of 2 yr/40 Million.
So basically the Heat are getting 3 additional years of Bosh’s services for $24-29 million and 2 additional years of Wade’s services for $4-13 Million dollars that’s crazy. If I’m their agent there’s no way I would advise them to do this.
Jodie Meeks is getting overpaid 3yr/19M by the Pistons.
