A really bad moment, considering that Howard had already informed Dallas that he was signing elsewhere, even though Morey hadn’t been made aware of his decision just yet.
“Mark thought I was taunting him,” Morey said.

I know NOTHING about B-Ball, but people have been talking all this stuff about Bron going back to the Cavaliers. WHY is this being tossed around? Is there any legitimate reason he would or should go back to Cleveland?
It’s only because it’s a storybook narrative. He’s from Ohio, he was drafted by the Cavs, and he leaves under less than stellar circumstances. Now he can “go back home,” and bring a championship that’s rare for Cleveland sports teams (which historically aren’t very good). That’s the only reason.
I’m honestly surprised bosh didn’t sign with the Rockets yet. I don’t think he’ll get as much as he’s getting from any other team.

Cuban threw in that player exception in the last year that Morey hates too, if we land Bosh I guess it’s worth it. Liked Parsons, but we honestly should have paid him earlier. Rumor that Deng will sign with us if Bosh comes on. Probably better to let Parsons go if that’s the case.
