Apparently LeBron told D-Wade if the Cavs don’t improve this year they’re going to ‘reunite and do bigger and better things.’

And of course teams would want LeBron, but as a max player he commands so much of the salary that you’d essentially have to get rid of vital pieces. Outside of OKC (and San Antonio pending retirements), every competitive team in the West has their star players locked down for a few more seasons to come. If LeBron leaves Cleveland again, GMs and owners will probably be hesitant to trade possible longetivity, staying power, and growing talent for a year or two of the LeBron show. I know talent trumps all, but there is a hole LeBron leaves that GMs will have to take into account.

Be the Heat 2.0 if you can afford it and can convince productive FAs to come play for you or the Cavs, where you have to hope it somehow works out and LeBron carries your team without breaking down.

All I know is if LeBron leaves again…holy shit, the hatred and disrespect will be unprecedented.

Lebron is not stupid enough to tell everybody he’s back and never leaving, only to leave again. It’s all media conjecture. Anyone with eyes knows what he was really getting into when he decided to go back, so there’s no way he himself didn’t. It’s no shock to me that his rookie coach is now somehow on the hot seat. That both of his allstar buddies are injured. That their GM basically said almost everybody is on the block. He royally fucked up and has to live with being stuck in Cleveland for the rest of his career, or risk looking like an even bigger villain than before.

If Lebron’s actually concerned about public perception he can come ring chase in Toronto. He can sleep well knowing he will be ignored by both the American and Canadian sports media as the average Canadian is more likely to recognize a toothless hockey player than the 4-time NBA MVP.

Klay loves the D.

Hope he gets all the D he can handle.

A rule I learned not too long ago: people make stupid decisions all the time. With that in mind, I wouldn’t be surprised if Lebron decides to leave Cleveland.

As for what team would trade their valuable pieces for him, any team that is hungry enough. Boston proved you can immediately win, even if it is just once.

Geo acting like Klay the only player that like taking balls to the face.

Get wrecked, Westbrook.

Rumored trade; Houston sends Terrence Jones, Kostas Papanikalau, Isaiah Canaan for Dragic and another piece to be determined.

That’s a bit more than I’d like to give up, but I think with the pieces we’ve added we could afford it.

Edit: Just saw the Asik own-goal tip in. Wow. I haven’t really kept up with how he’s been doing this season, but when I start to look at Houston’s off season…we essentially flipped Lin, Asik, and Chandler for Ariza, Brewer, Smith and possibly Dragic. Not bad, even without Dragic.

Omer Asik tips the ball in his own basket lol

sigh. Mike Malone gone and Cousins acting up again

gotta let that rookie know…he doing the most trying to actually box out Boogie’s big ass he almost took that man’s knees out…he was asking for it imo…

Omer Asik helping us get the win by sending it into overtime hahahaha. Good way to end off 2014 for the Spurs.

BREAKING: ESPN flags lowered to half mast.

Old age finally catching up to him.

Maybe he’ll use these two weeks to plan his exit from Cleveland.

He just turned 30 lmao. Man that sucks

Apparently, he has 3,000 more minutes played than Kobe did at this stage of his career and something like 9,000 more than Jordan (at the same stage).

I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s not him being cautious about his long-term health. If it were the playoffs, I doubt he’d be sitting.

Raptors @ Warriors tonight. NBA Finals preview, yes?

Holy shit the Rockets suck.

The Pels aren’t that good. They’re making Evans look like Tony Parker.

Is it in Josh Smith’s contract to start cause he sucks right now D-Mo should be starting.

He works better with the bench. He looks lost out there with the starters.
