I like Kobe I always have but this just shows what I have said all year, offensively Lakers should be a good team. They have guys who can shoot the damn ball, if Kobe would play more PG, it would have been much better for them this year.

Kobe wasn’t known as a great facilitator. I think that is where Lebron excel Kobe at. Kobe is decent at but not on Lebron level. Lebron tries to help everyone if possible.

Kobe tried to be LeBron two years ago. It took him 7 years to average that many assists again. I guess this year he just said fuck it and wants to break his 81 career mark by jacking as many shots possible and hoping he catches fire.

Kobe is not very adaptive to the team around him and that’s always been his downfall. He’s always played his game no matter what.

Josh Smith to the Rockets. Terrible mistake, but they’ll see soon enough. If he’s not playing with a big that can stretch the floor, it’s a waste of his skillset.

I’d celebrate landing another talented player…but it’s Josh Smith. As much as I think he’s an upgrade over Dorsey and Black (and he is), I’m still really apprehensive about his temperament and how he might affect team chemistry. Hopefully Dwight will keep him reigned in and the coaching staff will have him recommit to defense…

apparently there’s a huge issue in the cba leagues there where chinese players are flopping hard, and usually trying to instigate with foreign players and are getting calls because of it. its getting so prevalent and the foreign players are getting sick of it.

tons of blah fights happen over the course of the game and nothing short of a prison shank or anything off of the top turnbuckle gets you kicked out, so these guys get prodded over and over again because of some fucked up metagame china has employed throughout the league.

usually whenever i see “chinese basketball brawl”, the videos almost always start with someone flopping or throwing a cheap shot and then trying to escalate it, and its always the foreign player that ends up looking bad.
