lol…oh yeah…and the teams are so exciting to watch right now!..we got to see that compelling Xavier Henry /Monta Ellis matchup! :/…glad I got LG Pass…

How many times do we have to go over this the Lakers have the most fans in the league and are most likely the most popular basketball team in world.
This is discounting the fact that they have two basketball legends on the team Kobe and Nash. Who have huge fanbases themselves.

The NBA schedule is made knowing this because the NBA is in fact a BUSINESS, doing whats best for its product.

On a side note: James Harden was fined for flopping expecting the usually 3-17 performance when the refs aren’t giving him calls tonight.
I want to be able to go to work tomorrow, Stern you owe us one.

Hate it when anyone flops, even my guys. He definitely embellished some contact, they should let refs call technicals for that in-game. He does it every drive where they don’t call the foul, too. Hate it.

But 3-17 tonight? Who’s gonna guard him? Steve Blake? Luke Walton? Nick Young? Who’s even on this team anymore? Dude could easily go for 60 tonight. Gonna be a good game, looking forward to it.

Has nothing to do with NBA scheduling. Fan Night let’s THE FANS choose the games they want to see out of 4 choices every week.

The people that voted to see the game are probably Laker “fans” that still think Shaq is on the roster.

Didn’t mean that literally.

I’m talking about the constant bitching about the schedule, and how can anybody think the team with the most fans isn’t going to win the majority of time on fan night.

The complaining about that is borderline childish, even Chris Webber said a couple years back that they need to stop putting Lakers vs on fan night because it wasn’t fair. The league does that strategically because they care about ratings, If it’s not the Lakers it will be the Heat, how can people not understand this.

we rather it be the heat though

Who doesn’t want to see Kaman and Nick Young play every day

I would rather it be the Heat so people can stop bitching about it, It’s like people don’t understand business and the voting process.

random ?

whos a better player russell westbrook or derrick rose

John Wall is now better than both of them.

Russell, as much shit as people give him, is one of the best players in the league. John Wall has become a great point guard, but he falls short in comparison to Russ. I buy that he’s better than Rose right now though, Rose looks hellarusty and isn’t the MVP he was before he got injured.

Wall is athletically a pinch above Russell, and both are clearly above Rose. Wall never played SG and had to be converted like Westbrook, he’s always been a PG with PG instincts. Him being #3 in assists right now isn’t even indicative of that fact, but I expect him to be top 5 all year long.

Russell still plays like a SG who passes simply because he has the ball in his hands and is running a set that will lead to an easy basket for someone. He doesn’t have the instincts to do it naturally as well as Wall.

Wall’s flaws were his shot accuracy, range and commitment to defense. All these things have been greatly improved (despite him starting slow in preseason and early games). Out of all the “athletic” point guards in the league, Wall has now established himself has the most complete out of all of them.

D. Rose I think is still getting his wind. He actually had alot of effort in the first half last night and then… gassed. Its too early to say, but maybe, just maybe Chicago might be a tad overrated? I hope not, as a good Chicago is good for the league, and I don’t think they’re not going to be a top 4 seed in the East but they need to figure some stuff out quick and in a hurry.

Also, nifty Pacer stat. Roy Hibbert is averaging 5.2 blocks PER GAME. On a per 48 basis he’s averaging over 8 blocks per 48 minutes… I like the fact that refs are still respecting ‘verticality’ with Roy. LeBron deserves a DPOY, and I think he should have won it last year, but if Hibbert keeps this up to even a 75% ratio through the season he will be DPOY.

Chicago has always been overrated.

Wall is more athletic than westbrook?

You mean the current westbrook?

Sometimes I wonder what the world looks like through Geo’s eyes.

John Wall is ASS. ASSSSSS. He shouldn’t even be mention in the same sentence with Westbrook or Rose.

thought westbrook was better but hey well see

McHale should have known that playing both bigs would hurt at the start. Also Harden and his abysmal D is leading to easy looks for LA.

What the shit, this defense is non-existant. Omer either needs to be a back up or get traded, teams are just packing it in the paint on us. I like them together defensively, but there are no driving lanes with the both of them on the floor.

And the Lakers look amazing when no one is playing any defense on them. That D’Antoni system works the best against bad team defense.

Omer is alright but he has to come off the bench. So far Parsons has been disappointing he has had some open looks and just can’t make them

Edit: This feels like the Portland game where all the 3s were falling for the opponent.
