The change in leadership’s clearly got a vision to move forward instead of the maloofery we’ve had to endure for so long. It really is refreshing.
Sad we had to see Tyreke Evans go but at least the team has a sense of direction once again. Even if the win count doesn’t tally up I’m sure we’ll show signs of improvement.
And it wouldn’t hurt losing much this season anyways. Can’t wait for the new season.

I was fine with the 2-3-2 format. Reduced travel fatigue means a more competitive series, and 3 on the road puts pressure on the team with least road success. IIRC 2-2-1-1-1 results in more Game 7s than 2-3-2, and people already complain about NBA being too long and boring.

Competitive my ass. Those three home games in the middle broke the whole format. A lot of teams, such as the Heat in 2006, wouldn’t have won without them.

Both formats suck and have been debated to death, I don’t really have the time to dig up a worn-out argument.
Every other year wouldn’t matter for the Heat because they LOST in 2011 when Dallas had their 3 straight home games, furthering the point. As well in 2012 they’re the ones that had the 3-straight… and won.
