The Bucks didn’t actively tank, they actually spent money last off-season to improve the team while getting rid of head case Brandon Jennings. The Bucks along with the Lakers and Magic suffered from massive injuries.
OJ Mayo - 52 games played
Carlos Delfino - 0 games played
Larry Sanders - 23 games played
Zaza Pachulia - 53 games played
Ersan Ilyasova - 55 games played
While the Bucks looked to improve the 76ers held a fire sale dumping Holiday for Noel who they knew wouldn’t play this season, Turner and Hawes for scraps it got so bad that they offered the Lakers Turner and a second round pick for Kaman. The Sixers put out a D-league lineup for the sole purpose of losing and own 6 picks in the up coming draft. Not that you can fault them because the league doesn’t discourage what they done this season.
rick is a crafty fuck.
he’s intentionally setting up mismatches to tempt spurs into iso plays and heroball, not our strength. basically ‘daring’ our stars to beat them. you can tell it fucks with us.
i thought we’d have an adjustment after game 1, but we’re still struggling. turnobli is out tonight
san antonio is shooting 70%
dallas is shooting 49%
They might have had some inffluence in game 2 of Clippers/GS can’t say for sure didn’t get to watch that game. But for the clippers to get to the FT mid way through the first is odd especially for a playoff game.
Edit: Harden struggling and man LMA that was an offensive foul and they didn’t call it.
Refs have blown calls for everyone. McRoberts just layed LeBron out with a flying elbow at the end of their game and just called a regular foul. LMA just pushed off against Jones to clear space at the rim and they called a foul on Jones.
Robinson flew into Harden and knocked him down after the block, no foul call.
Gotta start doubling LMA, we can’t stop him 1-on-1. Keep going down to Dwight, use Asik for pick and rolls with Harden and let Dwight play the glass on offense.
Asik can’t guard him like that one game where LMA went 30% on the field. I don’t see why McHale keeps him on the floor it’s going to hurt in the stretch, right now Jones need to step up on the defensive side at least have him and Garcia double team but with the way the refs have been calling things he will end up on the line more though. Parsons and Harden need to get going, big time they have been non-factors so far that needs to change.
