He was ruled out for the playoffs by Thibs a couple of weeks ago and by the training staff last week I believe.

According to Iguodala, this win was born nearly two weeks ago, when the Warriors faced the Nuggets and a D-League call-up named Hilton Armstrong made a thoughtful observation at the end of the bench.
“Next time they trap Steph, we need the big to step up and be his release guy, and it’s two-on-one,” Armstrong said. Then Armstrong entered the game and showed what he was talking about. The Warriors, down to three assistant coaches, paid rapt attention.

LOL at them acting like Hilton Armstrong is supposed to just be a random unknowing scrub because he was in the D-League. He’s pretty smart. Hell, he used to play with CP3 in N.O. so he knows what he likes to do and how to beat him.

The Bobcats are free, might as well just give the Heat a bye and not play the rest of that series. No wonder they wanted the #2 seed over the #1. If the Pacers lose they have home court in the East anyway, and the Bobcats are pretty much a guaranteed series win. I don’t know if they can avoid the Bulls in the next round or not, but if the seedings work out that way then it’s even more of an advantage for them.
