Suns, Memphis or Mavs going to be the same spot the Rockets where for 3-4 straight years a winning record and out of the playoffs (9th seed) but would be 4-5 in the east. The casualty of playing in the west while scrubs getting in for free in the east.
*I’m waiting for Rondo to get “injured” and sit out the rest of the season. Chris Johnson and Phil Pressey are already playing almost 20 minutes per game lately.
But even so, it’ just as you’ve said. Our schedule is hella soft and the Jazz are a bad team. *
The worse part about it is that the Lakers still have a possibility of passing both the Jazz and Celtics, were up 2 games record wise but the only winnable game we have left is @ Jazz but its on a back to back. The only other two would be tomorrow vs Mavs and the last game of the season @ Spurs depending if Pop gives a damn or not.
If we lose out and the Jazz manage to beat the Pelicans we could end up passing up the Celtics and Jazz. The game that’s going to be crucial to the Celtics tank is the Hawks game because they recently admitted that the playoffs wasn’t their goal for this season.
It was karma responding to all the Chimpbrook stuff on ST, everyone knows Westbrook is an Alpha and Parker is a Beta tbh. (That place is overrun by 5 year olds)
Lakers have shutdown Gasol and Henry for the season, Nash’s last game is scheduled for tonight and Kaman is out for the foreseeable future with a calf injury. Looks like were coming for the #4 spot.
Anybody can have hot starts, but championship caliber teams know they have to take it easy as the season progresses. Right now Spoelstra is playing Haslem a lot at center, the same guy that didn’t play at all for like 3 and a half months. Rashard was getting minutes, then stopped, now he’s getting minutes again. Depth management is something Spoelstra is more experienced with compared to Vogel.
