I just started recently, but I havne’t played a 2K game since the joint with Iverson on the cover - on the Dreamcast. The controls have been killing, sometimes this move is a shot, other times it is a pass GRRR.
I’ve started ‘over’ if you will 4 different times and ALWAYS get drafted by Minnesota. Rookie highlight game I dropped like 45 on’em one time - shooting like 60% from beyond the arc - and Ellis STILL got drafted ahead of me and I STILL got put on the Timberwolves. Why ask my favorite team if its always the timberwolves…

The funniest part in the Next Gen My Career is that there is technically no free agency you play on the team you were drafted forever unless you request a trade.

Nope I don’t. He’s already a champion, and even as a 3rd seed in the East, he wouldn’t be on a champion caliber team. Realistically there are only a few teams worth looking at for a chip, if you aren’t on those teams, you are just playing for a slightly longer season.
OKC/SAS vs MIA/IND - are the only realistic finals match-ups. I think Clippers are ‘right there’ and by ‘luck’ or match-up could get there, and HOU is honestly a year away - I think they’ll fold when the tempo slows down. Memphis? They’ll make life tough for people, but ZBo is never getting a ring while in Memphis. Same goes for Dallas, they’ve always got a fighter’s chance - like a ‘Hulk’ player - to make things interesting, but they are NOT winning a series against any of the top 4 in the West or against IND or MIA in the east. GSW is pretty much the same as D to me…fighter’s chance - splash Bros can always make it interesting, and I think they can upset one of the 4 out west, but they aren’t championship contenders and are just playing for a longer season IMO. Both Dallas and GS are those mid-major teams that take out one high seed before getting eliminated themselves, but are still ‘just happy to be there’.
