It just seemed like he didn’t fit on the dubs rotation. He tried doing the guard thing and couldn’t facilitate, hell, he loses the ball from halfcourt. Then he tried the 3 and D thing, and he’s just not reliable around the perimeter. He has the skills in him but you rarely see it. Good luck to him, I mean honestly, if he never did the cheerleading thing, he wouldn’t be able to get out of the d-league.
The problem Bazemore is going to have with us is that we have too many pg/sg so he might not be retained. Marshall, Farmar, Young, Henry, Johnson, Bazemore, Brooks, Meeks, Nash and Bryant. I hope he plays well though because we needs as many retainable young players that we can get.

i think bazemore’s problem on the warriors is that he just is too excited when he gets in game. he is like a boston terrier that can’t control his energy. he can shoot, he can handle fine, he can definitely play defense… but his over ambitiousness to prove him has him shooting long on 27 footers, dribbling like a 10 year old, and flying by the person he’s supposed to be defending.
it could have been that he was just constantly pressured to find a role to get some playing time. he’s in 2k trying to get a break out game so the coach gives him minutes, but he ends up trying to do too much and hurts the team, so he ends up with a c- rating and doesn’t get any playing time.
i think lakers with their injured as fuck team give him a serious chance to see if he really has what it takes. the celebrations will be sick, but that’s not gonna pay the bills.
Bazemore has potential to be one of the best defenders in the league. Hell, he won like 2 DPoY awards in college. People already comparing him to Metta:
