Brooks and Nick Young on the same team
oh lawd.
so Marshon could potentially learn from Kobe eh…
is that dk from fast and the furious tokyo?? lol
Cuntrowl, awlt, duhleeete!
Charlotte got shooters… they’re serious about dat push.
Of course, they want to make it to the Offs of Play. Wait…that doesn’t sound right.
Seems like Miami is going to sit on that empty roster spot until teams start waiving players on/before March 1st.
I could see them picking up Boozer if he got amnestied, or a defensive big. LOL at the cries/whines if the team managed to get yet another solid player.
Boozer can’t get amnestied until the offseason, and I’m pretty sure he will get bid on before Miami can get their grubby hands on him.
- You’re missing the big picture for Boston. We get Asik and Lin and then what? We’re left with cap room but middling options come 2014 FA if they bounce, plus we have to resign Bradley to a better contract. We can keep one of them and then resign Bradley and have a little bit of cap room to play around with before the draft. We could end up with a top 2 pick and select Embiid which would help at the center position. Specially if the Bucks end up with pick #1 because I don’t believe they’d take Embiid after giving Sanders that huge contract.
If we were to keep them they could be a decent pieces on a young team. But even then I honestly believe our young guys would benefit more from playing with Rondo. It’s not about name power at all. *
I’m still trying to figure this out.
Did they reshoot the scenes or did they use “video magic” on Rudy’s jersey.
video magic. That kings jersey looks a little red in the back
LOL, Evan Turner for Granger.
He should’ve seen this coming. Must’ve been high if he thought Pacers would keep him after Stephenson and PG both made him expendable.
Besides the fact that Lin and Asik combined are owed $30 Million next season, How is a lousy first round pick and taking on nearly $17 Million of unwanted salary a great deal? Parsons was needed in that deal to make it even slightly attractive financially for the Celtics.
…

…
*I didn’t even get a chance to write about those points. Even if we got one of the Rockets 1st rounders it’d probably end up being in the low to mid 20’s. Plus didn’t the Rockets get stuck with Lin after they were trying to fuck with the Knicks by sending him highball offers? Not to mention Asiks attitude displayed this season has been a big turn off. *
Between signing Bynum and the eventual Turner/Stephenson starter issue, it seems the folks in Indiana’s offices don’t fully understand the concept of team chemistry.
lmfao spencer hawes comes to cleveland
shame i liked earl clark…somewhat
i know… my standards are WTF so hit that button!
most irrelevant trade ever
The probability of being able to trade them or make Boston a semi-desirable destination. Asik and Lin are both tradeable pieces, they have great upside and know they probably won’t sign anywhere again for as much as they got with Houston (except maybe Lin with NYK lol). You showcase them under Brad Stevens to raise their stock and sell high to a team like New Orleans, Toronto, or Minnesota. No one knows how the draft’s going to play out, so you cover yourself in case you somehow drop out of the top 3.
With Caspi coming off the books and cash thrown in, you lose Bass’ contract and that 30 mil isn’t as bad because you made room to absorb it. Not an ideal trade, but it gives them some wiggle room during the off-season to acquire more picks, more assets, or attract free agents. Rondo coming off an injury isn’t going to draw many productive pieces by himself, and the idea that Boston would pay guys like Lin and Asik 15 mil looks good to FAs that are looking to make money in this post new-CBA era.
Doesn’t matter now, trade’s not likely to happen and both teams are looking big picture. Rondo doesn’t take us to that next level and Boston has more bargaining power with Rondo than either of those two guys.
