yawning while playing a sport i am passionate about. this angers me more than it should.
love this GSW MIA game, wooooo. much better than the games tomorrow night.
The Heat are executing so well down this stretch.
I think LeBron is gonna end up guarding Curry to finish this game
Clutch.
LeBron James with that step back wow
LeBron doesn’t give a FUCK no more. That clutch gene too strong.
So did LeBron really hit his first ever game winner in 2009?
lebron owns oracle.
He hasn’t had a true buzzer beater since that Playoff game against Orlando. He’s had hella clutch layups, but now he’s making shots for the past 4-5 years.
Ain’t shit anybody can say about him anymore.
Edit: he had that GW buzzer beating layup last year against Indiana in the Playoffs also.
Maaaan I know one thing: this years MVP race is real. Thunder better maintain that #1st seed lol
Oh btw. I think lebron = perfect cell. KD = goku
yo, i wasn’t even mad when that shit went down.
i was more mad at the 3 klay gave up a few positions earlier. theres like 3 seconds left on the shot clock and lebron is wiggling that right analog stick like he was doing the konami code. why not step up into it?
but if lebron is gonna hit a step back drifting contested fade away 3pter on you with 0.2 seconds left on the clock? fuck it, lets go home.
Great game between GSW/MIA. Does hurt to see LeBron do that again to the Dubs, but if anyone’s gonna do it, might as well be him.
He even hit the taunt button at the end.
Dual commentaries, muthafuckas!
Been messaging with my older brother and a friend all night. Wanna smack both of them.
They wanna blame the LBJ game winner on Mark Jackson and his horrible coaching…SERIOUSLY!!!
They’re like “so what? if you give up two and go to OT. at least he doesn’t beat you.”
WHAT?!?!
Question: Do you blatantly leave chris bosh wide open in an attempt to get the ball out of LBJs hands?
Lets see where everybody was prior to the last shot: Steph was playing help side D (guarding Jesus), Dramond Green on Bosh, Klay is on Chalmers, Iggy is on LBJ, Barnes is on Battier.
The logic that they are saying is “why guard bosh?”
What happens when Green leaves bosh to help on LBJ. Bosh is free to the paint against a helpless STEPH CURRY. Bosh is an actual skilled “big man” (Don’t forget all-star) who can dribble, shoot, pass; regardless of the fact that I routinely dump on the predator, he’s still a legit threat. The scenarios I see playing out are as follows:
-
LBJ gives it up to a wide open Bosh who charges into the lane for an uncontested layup. Curry doesn’t try to foul in case of a 3 point play. They go to overtime. DO YOU WANT TO GO TO OVERTIME AGAINST THE HEAT WHEN YOU HAVE A CHANCE TO BEAT THEM. YOU HAVE THE LEAD. PLAY TO WIN (My thoughts on that).
-
Bosh charges into the lane and makes a 3-point play over the tiny steph curry.
-
Bosh gets the ball going to the lane, Steph curry is now stuck playing help side D leaving…Ray Allen WIDE OPEN FOR 3.
Now, looking at the people on the floor, you have 3-4 ROUGHLY 40% 3-point shooters on the floor (Ray allen, Battier, LBJ, Chalmers), the worst being LBJ. He just is. Most phenomenal player on earth, but if you had all of those players shoot 100 3 pointers I would have my money on LBJ being the worst. His 3 is something he’s worked incredibly hard on throughout his career, cracking 40% last year. Every other year before that…meh.
People like Steve Kerr, Robert Horry, Toni Kucoc, Twlight Ray Allen, Mario Chalmers–they are placed on teams for the sole purpose of being a body on defense and HITTING WIDE OPEN 3 POINTERS. AND THEY DO IT AMAZINGLY.
Do you want to put the ball in 1 of 3 SPECIALISTS who are proven in their craft at the highest level of competition or do you want the best player in the world who quasi-figured out how to shoot the 3-ball only a year ago to take the last shot? Some of you still might say–SPECIALIST. But what if I told you LBJs shot would be off balance, step back, fade away deep 3 WITH A HAND IN HIS FACE? You’d probably go…hmmmmm…
I know I’d take that in a heart beat. Not to mention that every other option was covered. LBJ was covered. The best player in the world hit an insanely hard shot…you have to give the man credit. You can’t blame the coaching. You just can’t.
Mario chalmers wide open three or LBJ step back, off balance, hand in his face leaner 3 pointer?
Shane Battier wide open three of LBJ step back, off balance, hand in his face leaner 3 pointer?
Ray Allen wide open three or LBJ step back, off balance, hand in his face leaner 3 pointer?
Chris Bosh layup/overtime/3point play or LBJ step back, off balance, hand in his face leaner 3 pointer?
What if they DID go into overtime and its the same scenario? do you just give up the layup again and hope to do it against the best player in the world in OT #2? Gimmie a break. Weed out here in Cali is great and all but its not THAT good gentleman. Call a spade a spade and admit that the dude just freaking hit an amazing shot.
Remember when PG was #1 on NBA.com MVP race? Now he’s #4, previously occupied by LeBron, who’s now #2.
Oh and they hate mark jackson right now…WHO HAS WON IN MIAMI THIS YEAR AND LAST YEAR.
And only lost on a last second 3-pointer. ITS NOT THE COACHES.
edit* somebody post that jackie chan gif please
Fans that aren’t used to success become extremely fickle. We saw this with the Cavs when they started making the playoffs with LeBron.
Miami fans were the same after our first championship.
