hahah, I hope to be there! I had to back out last week because of poor time management. So long as I can get some 3s practice in beforehand, so I at least don’t feel like a total waste I’ll be there! Don’t expect much of anything. I love fighting games, but my skills leave a lot to be desired.
I have an interest in holding some casuals at my place in OP on Fridays/Saturdays, but I’d like to meet some of the crowd first.
EDIT: I can bring my laptop for 3S casuals on the side if you’d like.

Hey. So Super Arcade was really fun. We got to play against Yi (5Star), Eric Chin, Matt (nicest dude ever), some of those dudes. Fun stuff. Tried to go to WNF but it was cancelled because of the heat wave rolling power outages. Sucks. Mike was a really nice guy. He’s made that place nuts. Everyone was really helpful and excited that idiots from Florida could even play the game. We were really out of practice due to all the traveling but they showed us all sorts of stuff/good advice and we did some number exchanges and things. There was this guy outside doing card tricks that were really amazing and it was fun to bounce back and forth between 3s cabs and some dude blowing peoples minds with street magic. Hilarious nights.
If anyone is ever out in LA they should go as much as possible. I think we blew like 40-60 bucks there in two days all told. Great stuff. Playing that game on a real cab again is so beautiful. I’ve never even seen a head to head in person before. We’ll check out Next Level sometime next week. Should be rad. Hope they have 3s. I already miss Chinatown Fair.

They didn’t have any recording or stream stuff set up that night. It was just casuals as usual. Stick up your token and wait in line to play the kings. Fun stuff.
Ben (Bear), Jack (Prof. BlueNocturne) and myself were up there. Doing music stuff but since we were out there we took any opportunity to hit up whatever arcades were near.
Didn’t get to see Southtown Arcade (iplaywinner stream… Haunts, et al) in SF though. They have really weird ass hours for an arcade. They close super early and don’t open until around when we usually had to be somewhere or load in somewhere. I was super bummed because they have a KoF XIII machine and I really wanted some of those dudes to show me some junk in that game.
