nhentai.net is pretty interesting. I really like their format, but there’s a lot of duplication of both
Japanese raws and English translations. Search function is REALLY good, and seemingly every item
is tagged regardless of what it is.

Is one of the things that pisses me off from sad panda, they don’t add the goddamn vanilla and happy sex tags.
Happiness doesn’t belong on sad panda. Only sadness and tentacles. And NTR.
I been using nhentai over sad panda. Better format and better tags. I wish it had direct downloads over torrents though.
I use Pururin and The Doujin. Doujin can be a bit limited in terms of selection at times. Pururin has shitty servers and sometimes loses connection when you load the next page, but once you’re in it’s a good time.
I go to g.e-hentai as my absolute last resort.
Is there a Fight-Club rule about exhentai, where you mention it by a colloquial term instead of the full proper name? Never seen anybody refer to it as “sad panda” before.
But yeah, fuck that site. It’s filled to the brim with duplicates, like one doujin needs to be translated in every language; can’t forget about the community’s “legit” re-writers who also feel the need to translate their magnum opus in 90 different languages.
When I met TriHex at an anime con in NorCal (we were streaming speed runs), I asked if he bought anything from the vendor hall. He showed me some small Sailor Jupiter merch he bought, saying Jupiter was his favorite due to some doujin he read. I was like “Yo, sad panda?” and he replied, “Yo sad panda!” and we fist bumped.

I don’t like how users cannot comment on individual pics in a sad panda gallery.
After all, half of the fun is reading the comments.

exhentai is e-hentai but with more content. Stuff that may raise an eyebrow or might get pulled officially if noticed. They made it a little harder to gain access to as you need an account to their main site to even look at ex. If you fail that, you get the sad panda image, hence why people refer to it as sad panda.
TL;DR, sadpanda is where they keep all the loli and guro shit.
Essentially anything taboo goes on sad panda. AKA no place for vanilla nerds.
Sad Panda has a filter. Just applying JP and ENG cuts things down massively.
Why did Hecatom press disagree on this? You visit Gelbooru on a consistent basis, so you know how much fun the comments are.
It reminds me of the days when I used to visit MIH solely for the comments. I remember when people used to shit all over Olddog51’s rewrites, or that one time a 150 comment flame war about 9/11 broke out on a father-daughteru doujin.
