no i didnt mean take out Iruka, in GTN3 they made Iruka/Mizuki as 2 seperate characters when they have same move list / special. in GTN2 if u press X on iruka it turns into mizuki thats fine but wasting a character slot for same move char juss looking diff is juss BS.
But Mizuki and Iruka don’t have exactly the same attacks anymore. Let alone space isn’t an issue in character select since they made it scrolling style instead of having them all on screen at once.
That’s true, they are different enough now to be considered two seperate characters. I like the new scrolling method as opposed to the character select screen. Not just for the fact that the last screen was getting jumbled, but because Eighting is actually making an effort to change even the slightest things in each new release.

Check this stuff out, guys:
-Transformations and gates opening are now Back X which the old down X is just X like it was before.
-The generic 3 man specials from GNT3 are still in for teams that don’t have any special relation to eachother. so the idea of the Throw, Juggle and Finish seems unlikely at this point.
-Switching characters is done with Z and requires little chakra, also all 3 team members must have full chakra to do a team special (they regenerate chakra if not in use)

I think the running sidestep is still going to have a much more long lasting effect unless the tag system is done well. I’m not likeing that you have to cycle characters to tag either =/
Yeah, alot of the mechanics have changed, meaning the fourth installment is going to be the one with the most depth.
Personally, I like the cycle tag system; it means you have to be that much more strategic.
I’m only now just realizing how much this game is going to differ from the last three games; there will be many, MANY things to get re-accustomed to.
If the combos get bigger, then that possibly means that KnJ’ing is going to be either a. more numerous or b. not as easy to do. I say this only due to the fact that maybe we will be given less opportunities to KnJ because maybe it will take up more chakra. However, I haven’t seen any proof as to a change in the Chakra meter.
By the way, only thirteen days left until Naruto: Gekitou Ninja Taisen 4 ships! Does everyone have theirs pre-ordered? I hope so.
I have mine with Bleach GC! but I’m not sure if they’ll wait for Bleach to come out before shipping mine. I did ask them and waiting for a responce.
I remember play-asia posting that you shouldn’t pre-order Bleach and Naruto together because it may mess up your shipping. Granted, this was before the official release date, so it may have changed since then.
I unfortunately cannot afford Bleach GC until after the new year or after Christmas.

Expect an update within the next day or so.
Play-Asia told me they’d wait for Bleach GC! to come out before shipping (since I preordered both at the same time). Not a problem really since I’m not getting the game till X-Mas. While I could buy the games, I want something to look forward to for Christmas, and those 2 were ideal choices.
I really hope with more updates they’ll show if theres any new characters (even though we’ve had 8 revealed so far)
Anyone know if djb13 plans to do anything GNT4 wise? Even though he only done a video for GNT3 (and NH2 but that’s a different series) it wouldn’t feel like a proper release if there wasn’t a flashy GNT4 combo video from him as well</pressure>
