I love how one of the Manga’s Chapter REALLY feels(quite meaty and lengthy, all of them) like an anime episode you know? I think way more series need to start doing this(read: Berserk).Sure they will take longer to release but the payoff is better imo

Envy’s still a dick even after being depowered, and Al finally meets his dad
FMA 81-
Not much happens but the interaction between Al and his dad was pretty good 
Hope Greed does something next chapter since I miss him 
Latest chapter was awesome, I hope this means Lin/Ling is back.
Still…How did he manage to get to Al and co. in just one chapter…wierd.

Yeah I think he cured him too since he said he could smell the full metal’s brother, I doubt a new Gluttony would know Ed&Al at all, well he’d know them via father’s info, but not smell.
Also damn, Ed’s grown, he’s taller than Winry now and he finally looks like a man or late teen at least.
I thought Father was like “I guess I have to make a new one”, I guess new means fix him because he does look exactly like the old gluttony.
Chapter 82 was so beast though. You had everything come together, the OMA vs ALA fight, and then Greed is finally back, albeit in a new body.
I like how Al is starting to lose control of his body, adds a nice little twist.

Gluttony gets GGPOed by Pride who needed a recharge. Good action in this chapter, looks like the fight will end in the next one

Also, the manga is a completely different story than the anime(after the first couple of vols). Ahhh I could go on about how fucking excellent FMA is but you should just read it. It really is one of the best manga, period. Arakawa Hiromu is a fucking genius. She puts a lot of mangaka to shame.

I started reading the manga during my lunch hour a month or 2 ago and finally caught up to ch. 87 this week. As someone who watched the series and movie, the manga shits all over the anime counterparts. I love how they just seem to find more and more allies as the story goes on.
