When I come back down south next weekend I’ll record at my usual arcade if the Saki/Heart player is there since I had to really learn how to use it against him or stay stuck in blockstun forever(which isn’t as bad as it seems as throws have a pretty big break window, and at certain ranges that 2A will not lead to their BnB).
Shinto - With Kira, she doesnt really need super fast ground cancels the same way Heart does with Earth (tho the guard cancel is a diff story)

I only got to play 30 minutes of Arcana today, it took forever for them to set it up due to sound problem. didnt get to play woof, played stone one game and we couldnt finish our money match. damn.

You’ll get there. lol The thing is, over here the majority of AH players are Melty players too, so the transition was (almost) seamless. That and they have a much more active and accepting(as the game was geared to most of them) community.
What’s really funny is that that same “doujin game/otaku players” stigma is the same here, as for every last AH tourney at my arcade they’ve had some stupid figure or something to hand out from their UFO catchers for the winner and runner up. The very first one was a MAID COSPLAY OUTFIT. WITH HEADDRESS. -_-; If I had a girl at the time there would be no way I’d put her in that.

Yeah i understand how its a joke, but its like, in every single post, these people post those things.
As for iad, i just do 296 (i think it works, unless im subconsiously doing 2966), and from like, Lilica’s 2B, its really easy to iad after cause she can do 2B96.
As for other characters, i unno, i think just try to not think about the same way you IAD in other games like melty or gg and just practice and you’ll get used to it.
Hey, HeartNana, which school are you attending in Osaka? Momoyama Gakuin? Because I was considering that school, but went with University of Kyoto of Foreign Studies instead (mainly because that program is later on and they are going to give me two weeks free hotel :D).
