If Kamui does 5B > 5C, if you 4D guard cancel the 5B and she does 5C, the 5C whiffs. With Yoriko, thatās a free 3B into combo. Sure she can bait it, but then sheās not doing braindead 5B > 5C XX whiff slide pressure all day. Makes 'em think at the very least. Once you get them doing different pressure strings, the whole game changes!

No but itās the āsafestā against most Kamuis. Kamuiās safest option to bait that GC is to IAD off the 5B and then iad2C, which will counter-hit if you stuck a move out so you just get knocked down instead of comboād.
If youāre being pressured up close, you can generally beat Kamui in the clash department with most characters (except maybe Fiona, Yoriko, and Kira? lolz)- after the 6D clash with whatever move she sticks out, you are in a clash situation where you are probably at the advantage since Kamuiās 5B and 2B arenāt the fastest moves ever. tianyuan posted some Kamui clash tactics for Kamui players, though. And of course you can 6D GC into throw if you think they are afraid of the clash art D:
Iām not entirely sure but it looks like Kira can 6D GC and then mix up with either grab or 2B. SK, can you confirm if thatās a viable tactic against Kamui?
