Hello. I might possibly go to that Chinatown fair place this weekend. I’ve been kind of on the SIDELINES on the scene. But anyway, I’m considering giving this game a try if I do happen to go there, and see the place. You know, get some first hand experience.
If anybody else is going on Saturday, which is when I’m most likely going to go, I’d like to know what time other people might come.
Waluigi - well, most of us are going to be in Atlanta this weekend playing Arcana Heart, but best time to show up at cf is friday or saturday. Honestly you should just come whenever. This isnt a lan cafe, its a arcade, which means you don’t always have to organize meetups. just show up. after all his is nyc.

I just realized Maori reminds me a lot of Amakusa. I mean, her stance and normal moves and shit are a lot like Amakusa. It’s just that she also has summons and a whip.

Yeah I’m still talking character design, not how the char plays. I think their designs are all generic clones of other chars. They may play differently but they are all generic stock rehash crap.
If you’re talking about character design, Maori is more like Mizuki than Amakusa, considering both her and Mizuki are both priestesses wearing hakamas of some sort.

I have to learn how to beat Kamui’s effectively. The scrub users at least. I got beat by some punk kid using her and he managed to steal the victory. I was close to pulling a Chibi, but I retained myself. I’m really not feeling the fact that even a scrub(that WON’T be playing the game a month from now) can take me out. Fuck.
And I’m more than likely done with Guard Cancelling. That shit is easily baitable and I have tossed that to the side for now.

Bro, you need GC’s to beat Kamui. It’s almost mandatory.
And this game is heavily dependant on GC usage as well, so don’t count it out just yet.

No, they only did SS0, SS0 Special and SST.
You’re Guard Cancelling really poorly if your experience with them is that bad. GCs are pretty much required if you’re going to be good at this game, or at least beat scrubs.

The character designs came from a bunch of different places. So Yuki making SST doesn’t really mean much, IMO.

Well I just came back, and no complaints this time about Kamui, She is still a brain dead bitch, I need to learn how to Iad and shit…I need to play more.
You use them to deal with abusable stuff like 5B > 5C XX slide and 3B air unblockables while fighting Kamui. Of course she can bait them, but then she’s not doing mindless free-wins-against-lazy-people stuff anymore.
