It’s not so much that the playstyles were ripped, as the character designs are just generic ass anime shit really. I mean some of the characters are a mix of like 3 or 4 of them.
It’s the neutral throw, or 5+AD.

Yeah, I know. Some of them play slightly different than characters in other fighting games, but the designs are like regurgitated from so many other things. It’s like a fighting game fan made the character designs based on their favorite fighters, and then threw in some random anime.
But seriously, the playstyles don’t look all that different either. The system is really what makes it different.

What in the world is that Yoriko on? That was hands down the best Yoriko player I’ve ever seen, possibly the best Arcana player. She had the mixups, the combos, the pressure, and he got out of everything Kamui threw at him. The Kamui won through sheer luck, and being able to do 60% off of one poke. Thats definitely what I’m reaching for with my Yoriko.

Lol, such a perfect example of how the better player still loses just cause of the character.
But you can’t give the Kamui player NO credit, they did do the right thing quite a few times that last round.
And the Yoriko made a few big mistakes that cost a lot. Decent match, but that Yoriko is still far from the best arcana player i’ve seen.
