I still don’t see how the Yorikos in the vids combo cr.C into qfc+c. I’ve tried it multiple times and the ish never connects.

That doesn’t mean i’m gonna quit though. I might pick up a different character to see if there’s any hope against all the Kamui players i’ve played so far. It does get tiring seeing the same shitty combos and not being able to know how to punish against it.

Rumblefish 2? geez, why would that game even be comparable to AH? rf2 wasnt all that great to begin with and didnt have much of a scene.
i just think ppl quit because they dont have the heart to learn how to fight broken with broken @ 75 cents a pop. noone has that top player/hungry mentality and it seems like everyone wants to abandon ship.
Why is my behavior with this game suspicious? I’ve been telling everyone my plans for this game from the beginning.
it seems that tianyuan is the only one that has some heart to keep playing. Even HeartNana who hyped up this game mad hard is starting to lose heart. 
At the worst, this game is no worse than 3s and its ilk (tier wise.)
Pretty much, everyone is losing ebcause they dont know how to GC/HC properly. I guardbroke heads with kamui’s df+b (sorry, not used to numpad notation) several times to land a combo…but yet you watch japanese vids, heads hardly seem to get hit by that at all…they have to work to set that up beacuse theyre always homing cancelling away.
At any rate I’m gonna have to learn a secondary because I don’t awnna scare away people from this game. I’ve already been able to play long enough within the past week to get a basic understanding of the game anyway.

I’ll play it. The problem is I can’t exactly get to chinatown every day, so until it comes out for ps2 I’m just gonna be scrubbing it with that one combo that I learned.

Man it took two, three months tops for the RF2 to just be kicked to the curb by Justin when he came from Japan, and for vids to start going around to show that Hazaama / Mito were the S+ fuckers that they were. I was there, so was Nick, we were mad in love with that game. The game was growing in those three months, and then out of nowhere these fucks that never played the game before since it was put in there suddenly show up out of nowhere and now the next tournament has this over abundance of Hazaama and Mito. Yeah, RF2 had potential, but three months is a short time for a game to be done away with.
AH hasn’t even been out for a week and it’s already gone through that entire damn process. Last week I played a Lilica, a Saki, a Kira, a Yoriko, a Heart, another Fiona, even a Lisolette.
Before the tournament started on Saturday I played like six different Kamuis. SIX. And only one of them entered the tournament, that being Noel. Who the fuck are these people? Where did they come from? This game hasn’t even gotten off the ground and motherfuckers are already running to this bitch thanks to youtube and word of mouth.
Damn yo, no matter how much we suck now, this still isn’t a good thing. There’s no growth to a scene when someone else has done all the work. I mean blame that on youtube or whatever, but christ which way are we going to go with this game? Noone’s going around and asking their friends, “Yo, this game looks hot, how does it play, what’s it like?” They’re going straight for, “Yo who’s top tier in this shit, who can I win with?”
I mean this only driving me to play more, because I fucking hate every last one of you Kamui players (I respect you god damn plenty Art, you know that, but you know that bitch is fuck ass stupid) and want to erase of the damn planet for wanting to play her. I mean the first AH in the US and TWO KAMUI’s in the top 3? That’s sad, that’s fucking sad.
But whatever, don’t stop playing her Art, just help us in trying to understand how to fight her. It’s just I can’t see anyone actually get any enjoyment out of playing her, I really, really can’t.

this game is great though. heartnana was 110% correct; it seems extremely unfeasible to learn the PPA loop early on. i managed to get the instant heel kick+AC cancel down but i have yet to perform any reps of it. from what i’ve seen everyone down here got a hang of the game pretty goddamn fast [thank god]
right now i’m using lang-gong lilica, which will suit me fine until i figure everything out i guess. i haven’t given love as much of a chance as i wanted, but i’ll get around to it next time i play. one of the guys down here was using gier/blob kamui and jesus christ i have no idea how to beat this shit. playing against kamui makes you think twice as hard before attacking, and with that arcana added to it it almost makes the situation impossible. outside of projectile zoning i haven’t really found a good way to get damage in yet since doing homing cancels always ends up with me getting a fish to the face.
stone’s saki is beasting so far though. dude already got his air combos down pat. TEAM ESTROGEN will be leading to victory in no time
he whores out wind arcana, and i kind of wonder why nobody uses the arcana force super enough, it’s extremely good. shit punishes instantly
but yeah with about 10 hours of playing i think i am doing pretty good so far. hopefully i’ll get enough matches in to improve when FRX comes around; looking forward to that!
