The Official Custom Arcade Sticks Thread II: A New Era of Builders

I wasn’'t talking about making it for the 360, just for the first xbox. any help would be apreshiated

Umm. Im not sure what T-Molding is but im talking about that protective tape on the topside of the Mas stick. Its slowly pealing off =(

T-molding is the strip stuff that looks like a T in cross-section that protects the edge of the top panel. You’re not talking about it.

I replied to your pm, but you’re talking about the vinyl overlay.

are my questions just imposibly? It seems every time I ask for help hacking a controller on this thrad no one replies… is there something wrong with posting that sort of help on here? If so please PM me the info. I reakky need the help.

Shiro:

Easiest to hack would be a mad catz or any other 3rd party controller. Microsoft loves to use teeny little solder points that can snap off and leave you with a hunk of junk - at least in my experience that is.

THANK YOU!! could you possibly pm me or post a link to where i can get a walk threw for the mad catz hacks for xbox. i can get ahold of the contorllers i just dont want to pop it open and be like o_O?>

Anyway to replace the vinyl? Cause 1/4 of it is completely torn off

Can somebody give me Drededfist’s email? His website is currently down but I want to talk to him about getting a stick.

I mean, there’s a dedicated padhacking thread, you’d probably get better answers in there.

link?

Come on, dude. It never slips past the first or second page, even.

just wanted to ask u guys if anyone has the SOLDERLESS PAD TUTORIAL
http://home.comcast.net/~spiffyshoes/DualShockHack/ Spiffyshoes’ DualShock Hack pic, if so please post it up here. the link seems to not work anymore.

hi,

i am planning to build a stick for my xbox/playstation. i thought about the seimitsu ls-33 but i cannot find any measurements for it.

someone knows something about it?

I saved the whole Spiffshoes hack page, not sure how to upload a webpage though. You want me to just upload the pics without the text? Cause I know how to do that.

Anybody know a link to a tutorial or could describe to me how to put on some new artwork onto the DOA4 Xbox360 stick? I’ve picked it up but I dont want that girl on it anymore. Also, am I going to have to remove the buttons to put art on it?

I think the only important picture is the one that shows the button for each pin of the terminal.

Also, you can see the text by loading up Google’s cache of the page.

Just a quick question, after doing the solderless pad hack I assume your left with all the wires capped by quick disconnects. I was wondering how does one then go about connecting that to a stick? Im going to pick up a semitsu ls-32 and was wondering do I need to pick up something like the Seimitsu H5-PIN

(As an aside, Im currently using a sanwa with an octagonal gate and finding it a bit awkward to hit u/f and u/b accurately, Im assuming this is an issue with my own execution but would a square gate make any difference?)

only the ls32-01 has the 5 pin connector. the ls32 has the usual microswitches you can plug the quick disconnectors to.
