I’ve been pimping the manga in the anime thread since last year.
Watched 1-7, gonna watch 8-12 tonight. This shit is too good, the animation is nuts and the art style reminds me of Suikoden, adding extra beast points.

ironically, I just got the OP song as I saw this thread. it’s pretty good IMO, but they can eliminate Raki with the quickness. His damn whiny, worthless ass reminds me of exactly WHY you don’t pair up kids with adults/monsters/large ass robots from other planets/etc in cartoons. The old G.I.Joe cartoons never had this problem. other than that this show is indeed the good stuff. I almost missed it but a friend put me on the right track with it and I’ve stayed there ever since.

I read chapter 1 of Claymore a few weeks ago while I was on break. That is some good stuff. I’ll be picking up the manga vols. eventually and hoping that the anime gets a good dub.
Good idea for a Claymore thread but I don’t know if I’ll post here too much as I want to be surprised the old fashioned way.
I hope they eat him. Nuff said.

Teresa was fucking god tier. 
Priscilla must DIE for that cheap shot (which is quite literally, the only reason she’s alive right now). But anyway, I love this series so far. Interesting fight scenes, really interesting characters (yes even Raki has his moments, fuck you haters) and a sweet art style. Oh, and on the infamous kiss scene, I hear it’s much less pedo in the manga, but I haven’t seen that picture personally so I’m not certain. One thing’s for sure, Raki would come back looking like fucking Gatts to return to that.

BTW, why is it that the few ex-male Claymores that are important to the plot look so much cooler in Awakened Form? You have Pris who looks like the total weak sauce version of Aya’s “Liberation” in Parasite Eve, then on the flip side you get Isley, who looks like a 20 foot tall fucking armored centaur. Seriously WTF. On that note, I seriously need Clare to not have to rely on Yoki to beast later down the road. She MUST become the second coming of Teresa and own fools with more or less pure sword skill, and none of that monster bullshit. Good thing she looks like that was her plan the whole time. Clare FTW.
Seriously, I don’t get where a lot of the hate for ol’ Raki comes from. He’s actually not that whiny, I take it none of you have watched true total wastes of space such as Shinji Ikari recently. Dude’s kinda impressed me with his ability to man up when the time comes thus far, even if he’s not strong (right now, anyway…).
Oh yes, and Clare MUST learn to own like Teresa. Lame ass Youki powers FTL, that shit’s almost as retarded looking as Ichigo’s fucking Skullomania mask.
