They tried a DMR class in Ghosts. Only like 2 of them were viable but the real issue with making them a class of weapon is how they compare to Assault Rifles and Snipers. Battlefield currently has this issue.
Just watched a couple of videos of the DMRs in Call of Duty: Ghosts and I can definitely see why there wasn’t that valuable in that game. Maybe it was the way Ghosts played made most DMRs unviable(ttk,slow pace,etc).
I will believe that DMRs would be the “middle ground” of assault rifles and sniper rifles being able to hold your ground whether its long range or medium range weapons.

Yeah getting rid of tube under barrels but keeping gay ass quickscoping is asinine. They really need to buff the other three shotties especially the auto one, does it even have a one shot kill range? It needs that up close and further range altogether so it can be like the aa12 or the striker.
I will gripe about that…sooo Camping is frowned upon (forcing me to move using ghost is a stupid way to do it) yet quickscoping is just as easy as ever? not to mention snipers can be used with pseudo iron sights with no recoil AND suppressors have no drawbacks? ok yeah sure.

Lol I wanna see only some of the ar’s have the tube under barrel, and maybe one of the smg’s, and fuck it, give to the first two shotties. And give the knife attachments lol, give it a ranged attack that does regular melee damage and has a weak stunning effect. Like some kind of dart gun. Also the riot shield needs to come back but make it a circular and smaller shield kinda like the aw one.
You guys already know how I feel about the whole pistols and akimbo not allowing other attachments thing to.
