Even for someone who hasn’t played in so long can understand how powerful hacking big killstreaks can be. Even if you die one or two times in the process you’re essentially taking around 5+ kills from the opponent and that’s being incredibly lenient…and then flipping them to your side. So at least a 10 kill swing for something so easy, on top of supreme map control? They might as well just make the Non-Killstreak Playlists that everyone wanted anyway.

I would like to see the ability to forgo killstreaks for more points for your build like they way they do it in advance warfare, and also have it so you can select different killstreaks for each slot you have. Basically I would like how they do everything in AW in this even the ability to upgrade killstreaks by making them cost more. Aw had that right even if some of their killstreaks were ass. Doing that could solve the black hat problem by making them cost more to proof them against hacking.
I think once I get into it, I’ll see how it is. off the top of my head, just increase hacking time. That way if you want the streak down, use a luncher cause it’s faster. Hacking can give you the streak BUT it will take much longer to drop it.
edit - ok got done playing 3.5 hours of it. Game is no doubt going to be solid! None of the specialists so far were a problem. Indeed hellstorm is STRONG! Still need more time with the guns but so far (after getting my ass kicked til I leveled up a bit) each gun feels fine. Hard to tell for now what is better than other but using Man o War, BRM, Razorback mostly. Sniper rifles now feel VERY weird. Ante Up needs to be adjusted a bit, Tracker needs a buff. That’s all I got so far.
Assuming the x1 is not using the patched ps4 version then the razorback is really good. If it is then ark is solid all around. If you gwt high enough the m8 is fucking dumb.
Almost everyone I saw with a high k/d during the beta was using the m8, shit is definitely op right now.

Isn’t it just like the M8 from BO2; 4-round burst, if all bullets connect it’s a kill? If it’s just like it is in BO2 I don’t see why it would be OP. Didn’t really play much BO2 at all, but I would compare it to MW2 FAMAS. Consistently one bursts, ridiculously fast burst delay (rapid fire is legit broken) so your second burst is most likely out by the time your first one is finished, laser accuracy with very little kick, barely noticeable damage dropoff at range, and you have access to 8 bursts even without extended mags. It outclasses every AR by far, I think the MOW with rapid fire/long barrel can compete, but if you slap those on the M8 with a stock then you’re basically the most well rounded class in the game. Only some smgs and shotties can win up close (not super consistently either thanks to the one burst kill), and far away it blows pretty much everything else up.
So the specialist with the rejack thing, he also has the bug trap gun, wondering if there’s a perk that allows you to see them or not be effected by them things, couldn’t recall.
Engineer will let you see the bugs. You can also shoot and break the hives.

I dont think this ability is worth it tbh. The risk vs the reward is just too high. I honestly think the one where you see through walls is the best overall one maybe not to net you the most kills but to keep you alive, information is your best friend. But i guess its all playstyle based
I thrive on assists and capping in dom. That amd Ante Up is a poor substitute for hardline
It’s pretty baller in DOM or KC still deciding on who my secondary Specialist will be. The gal with Vision Pulse is nice.

I found Kinetic Armor to be underwhelming when I used it. I died in like 2-3 shots. I’m preferring the “taciticool” abilities most specialists have aside from Ruin and Battery.

Here is a summary of the weapon tuning and Specialist weapon and ability tuning changes we made for the Playstation beta and just released for the Xbox One beta. Still TBD if we are going to do this for PC.
Adjustments to the following weapons:
M8A7
Increased time in between bursts
Has a slightly increased upward recoil pattern
DrakonIncreased Recoil
Fire rate is a little faster
Hitting an enemy in the upper chest no longer 1-hit kills. Neck up does 1-hit kill
RazorbackUsed to kill in 4 shots out to 1250 units, now should only kill in 4 shots out to 800. Anything beyond 800 should take 5 shots to kill. 850 units is roughly the length of the bridge on Hunted.
Slightly increased recoil
HVKHip spread size is a little smaller.
VesperUsed to kill in 4 shots out to 350 units, now should only kill in 4 shots out to 300. Anything beyond 300 units will be at least 5 shots to kill.
HaymakerFire rate has increased by about 10%. Should be noticeable. Should take roughly 2.25 seconds to empty a standard magazine.
KRMUp close damage increased. Should never cause a non-lethal hit within 250 units. Damage at a further distance has been reduced and can’t 1 hit kill as far out, even when ADS.
XR-2Delay between bursts has been reduced by a frame, very slight change.
