I finally got 50k deflects with the shield in MW2.
2 shock charges, and 2 bouncing Betties. Free kills at the cost of a secondary you were never going to use anyway,

1.Anything in particular I should know about on some of these maps(EX. chokepoints,etc.)
- I’ve been kill by the Scar-H w/Sliencer a alot and seen people use it a lot…anything special about this gun? Is like the Gali w/Sliencer back in Black Ops? I tell that gun was pretty damn good in that BO.
Look up xbox ahoy black ops 2 weapon guides. No matter what gun you choose he has a good guide for each
An-94 is hands down the top tier gun nothing comes close id say the scar is second if you can deal with the recoil.
I terms of map control it all depends on your team and how willing they are to move or sit still most maps you need at least two strong players to hold and maintain map control(pubs.) so if you are rolling alone its hard to give advice.
Again if i had it on ps3 i could break down each and every map with primary spawns secondary spawns, power spots special op lines of sight that no one knows about even now. And general knowledge 
Blops 2 is my favourite fps game since halo2/3 to me its the nearest thing to perfection that we have had since.
Oh for killstreaks go with uav hinter killer and predator missile or what ever the 650 point missile kill is. For tdm this is probably your best min/max killstreak set up that will consistantly net you kills. If you can get good at pointing the hunter killers in the right direction they can net you doubles and triples constantly. I know mine did all the time. The missile is awesome on plenty of maps to spawn kill with and or remove that helicopter or camping player whos really annoying.
M27 has been my go to gun in BO2. But I value in every CoD accuracy over power or speed. Really choose based on the style you like to play.
The common misconception is that there’s one OP gun. Really depends on how you play. Again M27 is my main gun I like BUT my highest KD is with the the LSAT at 2.20
I LOVED the Type 25 in BO2. VERY few guns weren’t viable in that game like MW2.
Im sorry but the AN-94 was fairly ahead of every other gun by the end of the life cycle of that game. It wasnt unbeatable but it was strong in every situation hell even beating out some of the smgs at their strong ranges. But i agree for the most part you could use any gun and do really well. There was no BAD gun but tyere were standouts forsure.
