The Official Call Of Duty Thread: CoD WW2 BETA coming Soon

I think im actually going to load up COD4 on my 360 to take pictures of my loadouts. They were all perfect. Wanna use them as a reference point in the remaster

Ben Simmons of the NBA is playing with Hutch on stream lol.

Not like he has anything else to do since he was cursed by being drafted by the Sixers.

The one curse Theo Epstein can’t break.

He may be a miracle worker, but Jesus he is not.

cod4 has hella bs tho, its not a hard game to learn

No one is saying it doesn’t, and it’s not SUPPOSED to be a hard game to learn. The reason it caught on so quick WAS its simplicity.

Cod4 is less about running around like a moron and more about positioning and angles and knowing hot spots. Map knowledge is key.

And the maps were more than 3 goddamn lanes.

im happy to play a game where shotguns actually kill and i can make ridiculous explosive spam classes again

I will say KC doesn’t work well with the Cod4 maps and speed, it almost always goes to time limit.

Well it’s the thought that counts at least.

I’m probably the only one but I’m on the PC MW remaster playing on a pad, and I have aim assist turned on yet feel like nothing is happening. If anybody here has had the struggle of pad without aim assist you know how near impossible it is to aim without it, I’m just used to play CoD on a pad and don’t wanna use a mouse. Hit detection feels pretty wonky as well.

If you are playing on pc you have to use mouse and on. Controller will not come close to competing.

No offense dude but if you have the opportunity to play an FPS on PC…there’s absolutely no reason not to use a Mouse and Keyboard. You don’t even need aim assist with those proper tools. Just learn how to play on it.

nah play on pad thats what the pros use in mlg

I grew up playing on pad, I play CS and any other FPS on mouse and keyboard. I just prefer CoD on a pad.

CoD does feel better on Pad yet if you’re on PC you’re giving up one of the advantages of keyboard/mouse.

A few maps did have 3 lanes to a degree yet were ambiguous enough for you to use a shortcut or alt route making movement more unpredictable. Many maps are asymmetrical and feel more realistic. More importantly they don’t feel cluttered with 50+ entry points. Yes that does mean you can start on a bad spawn however you can quickly turn it around if you have good map knowledge.

Only map I know many disliked was Wetwork. If you didn’t cap B flag in the middle early you were screwed the rest of the match

The UPS guy brought me a package I didn’t remember ordering and I opened it to find the Legacy Edition for Infinite Warfare. I said “aw shit! I knew there was something I forgot to do.” I didn’t cancel the pre-order. It’s in this moment I actually felt sad for how far Infinity Ward has fallen. They were golden with COD4, but now the only reason I have their game is I let it get charged to my card like a Gym Membership you no longer use.

Either way, I’m going to try and go in on MWR this weekend. If it’s as good as I’m hearing, I’m hoping Raven replaces Sledgehammer or IW in the 3-dev cycle someday.

Edit: why the hell didn’t I get the MWR download right after I made this post? Now I won’t get the game until tomorrow b/c it’ll take forever to download.

DLing MWR…but have to go to work. Damn

Late to point out but I still recommend rare drops for BO3. Getting 120 commons could be wasted on nothing and at best you can turn them all in for 120 keys. 40 rares can still get you nothing much bit at least a few rare gear drops? On top of that the return on keys at minimum is also 120. In theory, by that logic rares can be better.

Now the waiting game…
