Yeah, I think cutting down on power positions was their main philosophy with map design. At least, it seems that way from videos. I haven’t seen one camp spot that can’t be accessed a variety of ways.
Hmm. Guess I’ll be picking it up on Friday then.
Seems to me is that campers just move from one spot to another. Pays off to just stay were you are than venture out of your spawn.

Its a very good tool to use if some1 is hiding or is taking cover across from you… its like a Rocket blasting and the splash killing you…
its just not Danger close strong… but its still a big explosion.

I like how I can build KS with assault strike package by shooting air shit down. Two free kills w/Stingers. Lobby was much smoother than I thought with it being first couple days of release. Nerfing shotguns was stupid, but I do like the free Eavesdrop (especially when I get them with the Riot Shield).
I wanted to try this actually. Last night I wsa being super aggresive, but like looking at Gordie’s video he did great by…well not moving around much. I hate the idea of going negative, I worked too hard to get good enough to NOT go negative…to go negative consistently like I did last night.
eavesdrop? And YES for the first day, everything went EXTREMELY smoothly, I couldn’t ask for more on the network performance standpoint - sure I was playing at 3 bars most of the time it was pretty damn consistent.
Yeah I was using the first launcher as a secondary to blow people up, but hte damage from it is a joke…I got a kill I’d wager 33% of the time.

I had no idea about the eavesdrop. I just remember hearing “fucking crotching m16” after killing the dude. Nobody else heard it but me so I was confused.
Connection was amazing especially for the people who knows me as “Slowly Connecting”. I was able to host games without a hitch.

Campaign is as exciting as the last games were so far. nothing much to say here except at last I get to wrap up the story

MP - unlike what was guessed earlier, MP feels between MW1 and MW2. game are fast paced but not AS fast as MW2 (to me when I played last night) I died 2 times last night to grenade launchers and nothing more. VERY little knifing going on as well. I only knifed once but overall didn’t feel the need to anymore. Maps I really can’t comment on because well…I haven’t played them all enough to get a good feel. to be honest it’s hard to judge maps so early. need more time. Perks feel more balanced but eventually will fall into cookie cutter builds sooner or later once we figure out what blends well with what. Even so nothing feel like it’s THAT bad and some “unless” perks actually have more use to them than originally thought. After playing with Recon and now Pro, if you tag them with a nade (or get a hit marker from even a flashbang) they’ll appear on the map for EVERYONE on your team and for 10 sec…like a mini blackbird. This makes Recon WAY more better than originally thought. Just one example.
Moving onto guns. Idle sway comes back for just about everything and in many ways doesn’t get in the way of precision aiming but it’s enough to avoid people just sitting in one spot perfectly still and scoring headshots. Proficiency now on all guns is nice though I don’t feel (for most guns) they make BIG difference, maybe attachments and more specific types of proficiency but again more time is needed. Shotguns (no matter what you use) feel like the striker from MW2…it’s just a matter of which striker do you want? pump or slow semi auto? once I get damage will come back to it. Assault Rifles are dominant and are going to stay that way it seems. not that it’s a bad thing…unless they’re hiding yet again another OP SMG. again more time is needed to know. SCAR L is the gun of choice so far it seems. I love it.
speaking of love, very much into the pointstreaks! no longer do I feel like I have to camp or rely on another streak to get things going especially with support. this makes things more calming as i can focus on what I’m doing, maybe I’ll die then go right back to building things up for a SAM/EMP/etc. Love also how scoring objectives builds points. Harriers now are gone making the Attack Heli once again dominant. May not seem like a big thing but Heli’s don’t kill enemy heli’s so be aware of that should you throw up one. also because of this change no longer will there be 2 harriers and one heli doing nothing happen again. like MW1, you must wait for the main Atk Heli to be downed or leave before the next one comes out. even when the skies are filled SAMs have made a big difference.
While the game isn’t TRULY gun on gun like years ago, there’s just enough tweaks to lean gameplay towards that. I’ll gladly take this over MW2.

I have all perk 2 Pro’s unlocked, Hardline/Assassin is God Tier. Blast Shield for objective games. Overkill for me only in S&D or if I want to carry a shotty or sniper.

I wouldnt know since we hardly played with each other last night.
I’ve seen parents who overworked. My father held a full time job and a part time job. Only being able to see your dad for 30 mins a day wasn’t worth the extra money he brought in.

I agree with pretty much everything you said, but I believe you made a mistake when you said Assassin protects you from deadly air support. That’s what Blind Eye is for. I also agree with the Support package not having access to the Osprey Gunner. That’s OP. Granted you have to get 18 gun kills so it can take a while, but in a long domination match that’s practically guaranteed. What they SHOULD do is add that to Specialist. In fact what they should do for Specialist is to give it a built in regenerating ballistic vest, and access to the Osprey. Right now Specialist is kind of ass. The extra perks help, but not all that much. Every perk in the game MIGHT get you an extra 2 or so kills, but you’d be better off running Assault if that’s what you’re going for. Right now Specialist is grossly underpowered. They need to do something to it. Maybe giving the player perma-juiced, or making it where you lose 3 kills per death, or something. There’s just no reason to run specialist unless you REALLY want to get a MOAB.

from what I heard it’s as powerful as MW2 FAMAS but with rapid fire on it gives it the speed of BO G11…that’s dangerous.

still wanna get a gold scar but I can’t wait for an acr, ak, and w/e the FAD is
going into private match to see how future guns works…and seeing stats, FAD (assuming they’re actually ACCURATE this time) is lighter than all ARs. Also AS50 and the M82 .50 Cal have LMG level weight on them making them the slowest Sniper rifles to run with. small FYI for those interested in those guns.
edit - ok throwing around future gun combos I want, I’m going to LOVE the MP7…gun is between the MW2 M4A1 and ACR if you add stability proficiency down the line.
Desert Eagle now has 8 rounds over 7 and feels like how it was in CoD4/MW1
adding on Ext Mags will give you more ammo so instead of say 30 rounds in your gun plus 60 more, Ext mags will now give you 40 rounds in gun and 80 extra. Ext Mags this time around wil WAY more useful.
FAD looks to be a future gun to keep your eye on. I tested it in private match with a variety of ways and even in vanilla form it’s nasty. 40 round mag, looks about the speed of the MW2 M4A1 and accurate in bursts but even full aauto the kick is very low. something to watch over.
CoD Elite is a joke. So much hype over something and it doesn’t even work…the only reason I’m messing with it cause I want my free DLC and founder status…
this is my only big complaint so far. which in most ways has nothing to do at all with MW3…the extra service…hell even the FREE stuff isn’t working. did they REALLY underestimate how many would use this? all I know is I got an email from microsoft saying my code I put in for CoD ELITE went through so even if this service fails to even work I got my shit in and I will get it. It would be nice to actually use that double XP I got for it…I’ll see if I can use my Dew codes now.
