You’re an idiot like this guy. If the system hasn’t changed in your eyes since CoD4 why would you expect them to do so now? The series being the “same shit” for that many games in a row should have given you enough hesitation to wait, or rent the game and not snatch it up on the release date.

If the game is MW2.5 - I AM HAPPY. MW2 was at base value a great game that mutated into somethign else. So staying true ot MW2 isn’t exactly a bad thing. Hell even if you want to call it a map pack + fixes/adjustment - the price falls inline, especially considering it has a new campaign.

Now if it was like BO, then we’d have a completley different story…

Yeah yesterday I left work early to run my chores and get home early enough to nap it up so I can get to Walmart around 11:45ish. Had to hit up PNC, Giant, and dry cleaner got home, then remmebered I had to cook dinner for the evening and clean up a bit. Finished around 6:45-7:00 wife convinced me to watch the last episode of Psych on Netflix and I just gave up at that point. I have too much stuff at work to be a no show/call out. So…I figured I’d get it in the morning on the way to work, woke up late, my body is still recovering from Saturday (didn’t get home till sometime after 1 - 5 hours after I’m usually asleep - then had to clean up the kitchen when I got home haha) - and got to work 30+ minutes late so obviously no MW3 this morning. Now I’m trying ot get it after work, but I’m struggling so hard to stay awake now that I’m not sure whats happening this evening (sigh)

So Soap dies apparently? Well thats a bummer, but really the only part of the campaign that was signifigant to me. I was expecting it to be more epic but apparently not, though I can’t say since i’ve only read and not played the Campaign myself. I would’ve rathered Price died than Soap. I honestly never cared for him, they try to make him seem like the ultimate badass but it just doesn’t work for me at all. It’s really because players are more attached to characters they play as. Reading the campaign it sounds, mediocre to me. Kind of how I expected it to go. Though I want more WW3 missions and not the Action Movie part of the story that follows the remnants of TF141 but i’m asking too much, that was Call of Duty of a long time ago. Why Yuri? I honestly think he was an excuse for the creators to ad someone to follow Soap and Price around so that you couldn’t play as them. Sigh, disappointed honestly. I wanted to see a more exciting end but, I got my hopes up. Glad that MacMillan was around, sort of. He was 10x more badass than Price.

Hey before MW1 Call of Duty 1-3 (Well sorta 3) Had some really kick ass campaigns, now its the reverse and CoD emphasizes multiplayer over the campaign.

Genius, simply. I feel like a hipster when I say I’ve played Call of Duty before Modern Warfare, hell I played the pre-release demo for Call of Duty 1. I have hardly met anyone who has heard of or played Call of Duty before CoD4 in which in my retorspective is a completely different series despite the title. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy MW as much as the other youngster on the block but I value the first three Call of Duties (Duty’s?) (with the exception of four) much higher than the ones today and thats not my nostalgia goggles talking.

Gun was like the prototype Red Dead Redemption, it was very good, got some initial hype but then faded away post-release. But i’m CoD de-railing.

is Gun the game with the yellow cover of a skull on it? I always wanted to try that one. Fav XBox game still goes to Brute Force or osmehting like that it was like a team based FPS but you could play as several people at once…including some reptile like dude - all with special abilities.
