Assassin still looks super lame. It’s like… they try and shove all this stuff to promote teamplay and coordination. Then offer a perk in a slot with no strong competition that completely negates all of it.
Has anyone confirmed yet if the killstreak resetting in one life takes place even if you only have one killstreak?

assassin is gay. Support strike package and pointstreaks for killing air support both feel good, but will generate lots of rage from the usual crowd.
The pacing is fast fast fast, maybe even faster than MW2. Maps are fun, only played 3 though. Only complaint in that regard is that the spawn system ( combined with how much stuff there is to hide behind ) makes the maps feel almost too dynamic on TDM with the two teams constantly spinning around in a circle
Probably too early to comment on balance, but S and LMGs feel a bit weak in general, at least the ones I’ve used. Snipers still feel like they’ll fall into a situation where one rifle is clearly dominant over the others. Also, knifing feels terrible. Absolutely terrible. Not sure it’s even worth trying to seriously use at all unless you’re holding a sniper.
Assassin’s competitors feel better than I thought they would, but I still think assassin feels really counterintuitive to the message and style MW3 wanted to promote.
Obviously though experience is very limited right now. So what I’m saying could just be based on flukes or early game ignorance.
The resemblance to treyarch in some things is already disturbing me…

I bought a Turtle Beach X1 tonight when I picked up my copy of MW3.
These things sound like shit, just like the X3s, but I had to own a pair myself before really passing sound quality judgment, how can you guys listen to this crap?

I have the X31s I think…the low budget wireless ones. My son flips and crawls around the ‘pitbed of wires’ too much for me to actually have wires dangling around - so I went all wireless finally.
I was doing the midnight thing at Walmart but decided around 6 to stay home and be a family man, I just have too much going on right now ti do a midnight launch and skip out on work. I’ll pick it up after work today.
What’s wrong with assassain? In a game predicate on aerial support and tons of UAVs/etc - why the almost sourness level of dislike for assassain?

Isn’t this to be expected? Millions of people play this game. Hundreds of thousands of people are likely to fall into one camp or the other.
This game is awful. All they did was reskin all the guns and player models. It’s the same shit you have played since CoD4.
