basically i got a hold of the new “hot” item, a purple tediore relic (+30% gun dmg, +70% mag size) for free, and a bunch of people traded w/ me so that was pretty sick
ended up with a ton of stuff (including a boat load of customization, which I do NOT want to farm for), pretty happy with my haul. I’m still using 2 or 3 items I found on my own lol
overall i got a bunch of people onto my friend list too, on steam i didn’t have that many ppl to play with at first and now i do, woop.
Just an FYI for all you people that are using “Buck Up” on your Death-trap(Jae, Angelpalm) it not only makes him buggy he ALSO will restore the shields of enemies as well!
Yes I have seen this shit first hand, and had the displeasure of witnessing him get stuck shooting his beams at spots in the ground for no reason until his time ran out. They need to give you the ability to recall him early like the Commando.

I’m on the Borderlands Wiki right now and it says that all Seraph gear costs 120 crystals (with relics costing 50) and that the Seraph dropping bosses only drop 3 to 10 crystals at a time?
So not only are they balls to wall hard, but you can also only fight them once a day. It’ll take weeks to get a Seraph weapon No thank you Gearbox. I’ll stick with my shitty green gear.

also are the head unlocks for the other characters pretty cool or no? The not so jolly roger one for gunzerker finally gave me something to ditch the badass bowler head for.
Jack’s face kind of phased through his mask or something earlier when he fell down before the Warrior when I fought him. His gums and teeth were sticking out and his eye was popping out. I thought his face exploded.
Did anyone else notice that they changed the info screen for those shields that reduce health? Before the first patch, it would show exactly how much of your health the shield is cutting, like " Health -372", something like that… ever since that patch it just says there is a health deduction, and I guess you’re just supposed to equip it to see what that is. Of course with a level 50 it hardly matters anymore… my Gunzerker has something crazy like 48,000 something HP.
haha, I had a low-level friend that I was power-leveling a few days ago… and he was shooting me to provide healing since he got that skill right away on his Siren character… like that’s going to do anything for a character with nearly 50k health that can activate FAST regeneration from his action skill and instantly be at full health from the “Come At Me Bro” aspect of said skill… nigga please™ (y’know, it would be funny if they dared to have a character with a skill that was actually called “Nigga Please”…of course that would be all controversial and shit though.) That character is borderline invincible over here. I’m ditchin’ the “Bee” though since I’ve realized that capacity is actually “small” compared to other high level shields.
Sheeeit, I’ve had so much fun with the Gunzerker, I’m most likely going to start a 2nd one very soon (*I have some friends who are still low-level, and they don’t seem to be interested in power-leveling the Tina way…probably just want to take their time and enjoy the game normally. I can definitely understand that. If you fast-track to 50, that pretty much saps any kind of excitement out of your battles in the first play-through.)
edit*—yep, Gunzerker #2 has been made already— level 4, currently. I intend to power-level him a bit later but not all the way… perhaps just fast-track to 20-something…this one might be more focused on the Rampage skill-tree, with a dash of Brawn.
*y’know, it would’ve been funny if they had Wilhelm do a “Wilhelm Scream” when you kill him (*or maybe he does? I’ll have to check it again… it’s been a long time since I fought that boss). For those that don’t know the reference, you’ve most likely heard it before:

Really need a higher Law and Order, glad Jae was able to get me them though since they are helping a ton. Murdering a bunch of dudes with a stealth strike of doom is satisfying though, especially when AF and Jae are causing distractions for me to slip around.
