I just walked up to one of Marcus’ machines, and he said “CATCH-A-GUUUN!! Ugh, I am never saying that again.”
Yeah, I got that too. Too good. Must be a low chance that he says it.
Doesn’t Hunter Helquist remind of you Rush Limbaugh and Glenn beck?
For a second there, I thought we were talking about Deus Ex: HR and the Beck parody that everyone in the entire goddamn world seems to listen to.
I hear that vendor line a lot, actually.
How do I acquire this Infinity pistol I’ve been hearing about?
Just started the second play through and I am laughing at how am still wrecking these guys.
What game are you guys playing where you’re rofl-stomping dudes still? If anything I can still do it but not be as silly as I was in part 1.
It was like that until I got about halfway through the story again, now it’s a living hell. I’m at that part where you have to kill the thresher that eats the beacon, and being a level 41(almost 42) with what most would consider to be pretty good guns, it still isn’t enough to bring this fucker down. A fucker in which, can kill you in two shots. Also these shots can literally reach you from across the map. >:(
Sheeeit, my main Gunzerker character is level 21 now… I’ve become nearly unstoppable at this point. I have an “Armored Titan” class mode that gives a +3(!) points on “I’m the Juggernaut” (you gain damage resistance off a kill) and 2 points on that first Health/HP Regeneration skill, among other things. Ammo is also never a problem for the Gunzerker since he regenerates the ammo during the action skill, so it helps to do that even when you’re not in battle with things.
Oh and even without that skill for health regeneration during the action, you already have health regeneration associated with it…so adding that skill must make it quite ridiculous. Anytime I’ve gotten low on health (which is already something crazy like 1219, if I recall), I hit the action skill and the HP number quickly goes back up to a healthy status. On top of that I have one of those shields that gives an electric explosion (I have one for fire too) when the energy is depleted. Haha, it’s funny how insanely strong this character is getting.
Picked up The Bee yesterday, before finishing Playthrough 2. Bee + SMG means I’m doing 525k DPS , and with a shottie I can 1-shot anything except big badasses … and that’s before buffs (Badass, skill points, etc…). With a turret out and my kill skills on, I’m probably doing closer to 900k DPS. Every single thing just melts … it feels too easy, though it’s nice when I’m just bombing around trying to farm, and don’t want to have to think.
I spent half the night trying to farm that.
Did not get it.
Blue ball comes slowly.
You guys say Hyperion weapons suck?
Have you found The Hyperion Bitch? It has no recoil >_< absolutely none.
Where do you get this gun? Because I’m having trouble killing this fucking thresher on my second playthrough.
Just wait till’ you get to around level 35. That’s when it REALLY starts picking up.
Its a Legendary drop from BNK3R. Got mine at level 48.
I luv Mr. Bitch, he’s so awesome. You can shoot a constructor in the eye from half the map away.
That’s odd, I think I took it down (in a coop game) at like level 38. That was around the time when the story line wasn’t enough xp to keep me equal level with the content, and I had to start doing random grinds for experience.
Think Im gonna say fuck it and start doing the non blue-reward quests for experience
I just do every possible side quest before I continue the story in TVHM.
The problem is, the rewards scale if you hit 50 before you complete them. Thus, you are basically losing out on your only opportunity at some of those guns if you take on the side quests. And who knows, one of those guns may prove to be the strongest possible and you could lose out on your only way to get them. That’s why, generally, it’s best to avoid the side quests in your second playthrough until you’re 50.
But it may just be too hard/boring to grind without them, so I may just have to suck it up and do it
Don’t avoid ALL the sidequests though, do the ones that give you generic rewards, just don’t accept the missions that reward you with blue gear, you can see what they give you before you accept it. Remember though, don’t accept the quest, once you do you’re locked in to the level so you’re SOL. This almost means you’re gonna be playing solo, as you don’t want any people coming in to screw you over.
There’s no way I would be able to carry around OR store every single weapon I like anyway, especially with whatever DLC they release later on. I don’t really worry about it. The best guns I find during the story missions anyway, or when I killed the last boss.
What is this blue gear?
Can you explain?
