I’m going to be waiting until I get a next generation console. Dice really shafted the OG consoles this time around :-\
So is anyone getting this tonight? I got turned off by BC2’s maps and how long it took from respawn to where everyone is at. But, I’m sick of COD at this point and wouldn’t mind switching it up to something more in depth than what that series has to offer.
This is a game i would need to play on PC… Current gen will not cut it
how is this supposed to work this year. is there an hd content disc?
i put in disc 1and it started installing something. didnt say what. then it went to a normal menu. i like to install most of my games to the HD. is this taking care of that for me? whats on disc 2?
i guess i can answer these questions myself in about a half hour. just hate wasting time that i could be playing.
they used to have these things in the olden days call instruction manuals. they were full color, and had enough info to last you a weeks worth of poops
EDIT-all my questions answered here https://help.ea.com/article/battlefield-4-xbox-360-install-guide
disc 1 is MP. disc 2 is SP. dont try to run your own install before the games mandatory install
Check out JackFrags on YouTube. He’s just recently (within the hour) finished uploading an entire playlist
of PS4 footage, multiplayer, every map, from the event he was at this week. It’s pretty nice and people will get to
see what this really looks like on next gen.

Well I bought it for the xbox and while the classic mode still takes for ever to get things done(64 players on next gen/pc probably would help with the monotonous experience) TDM is a bit better. I’ll hang on to this game for a little bit, but over all wasn’t anything spectacular.
The PC version has been really not well optimized for release, I almost regret getting it on release day but I know it’s just a matter of time until everything gets patched.
Other than that I’m really enjoying the game so far, aside from the servers crashes and day 1 netcode being ass, the game itself runs really smoothly on a medium end PC compared to the Beta that was straight up unplayable for me.
Suppression doesn’t happen that easily most of the maps are Armored Shield-sized for people that are into that, no dumb color-tint anywhere.
As a PC player and someone who owned BF3 on both PS3 and PC, I don’t really recommend playing this on PS3 or 360, you guys really gotta experience Battlefield in 64 players goodness, it is a different sort of pace for game modes like Conquest or Rush.
Battlefield 4 is so good IMO. I feel like it adds what I loved so much from bf2, bc2, and bf3 into one package. I love the levelution aspect and how when performed it can change how you play maps sometimes entirely. This is definitely the best shooter experience(aside from the occasional server crash/freeze and bugs which will def be patched out as time goes on) on the market right now. I feel like everything pales in comparison to the level of gameplay that Battlefield has.
just bought my xboxone today, with dr3, forza, and…bf4. Every bestbuy person said bf4 owns ghosts hardcore. ARE THEY RIGHT???
How’s the optimisation/performance now? I’ve been holding off on it as I’m thinking I might need to upgrade my comp a bit to enjoy it. Rocking a 6970 atm.
Even COD:BLOPS1/2 owns Ghosts! lol
BF4 still a miserable mess. Rumors of DICE/EA finally putting out free DLC in the future to gain back some trust. Psh. Yeah, right.

battlefield 4 rocks the shit out of that lousy game. battlefield vs cod is like halo vs duck hunt
I like Duck Hunt
Welp, expect the downhill ride with this franchise now that it’s out in the wilds that DICE isn’t even developing the
next BF game, and get this—it’s police themed? Hahah. Yikes.
And 4 MONTHS into BF4’s life and it still can’t get it right. Everytime DICE puts out a new DLC or patch—fucks
up 10 more things. But wait! You guys remember this is how DICE works right? Right!?

Sorry for the late reply, it definitely runs much smoother now, but I still have some crashes problem but it only mainly affect people with AMD cards and Windows 8
