Speaking of building, I’m needing to get a new case. I’ve stuck around with my Antec P180 for the past 4 years, and I think it’s time to move on, especially because of cable management (with this case, there is NONE). I’m looking at the Cooler Master Scout as a prospective replacement. Anyone think I should steer a different way?
NZXT Phantom or Cooler Master HAF X
Second for the phantom. I made the mistake of not doing as good of reasearch on a case and Im paying for it now. I have a Thermaltake V9, its meh, but definitely wish i got a Phantom.
FWIW, I read that Phantom was releasing a v2 which will be sweeeet.
I hate the thought of vehicles in a FPS.
Battlefield and CoD both play differently…shit’s like SF4 and Marvel. Same genre different style both can coexist without putting up walls saying this or that is better. I’d respect this series better if it, the Devs and many of its fans weren’t so hellbent on trying to “beat” CoD.
that post was in reference to COD, as in BF BC is better…
Good shit guys, I’ll look into that stuff. Thanks.
Just got a text from my brother that he pre-ordered the game for me already. I can’t wait for 10.25.11
what FPS games do you play??
I hate the thought of peanutbutter in my jelly jar. (jelly in my cruncy JIF is okay though).

I’ve played CS, Halo, COD, and TF.
I only used vehicles when I wanted to go 35-2. I’d only die twice because I want to.
I hate it when there is jam in the peanut butter or vice versa.
Just bought BC2 for £15 inc. all DLC :bgrin:
It has been revealed that Battlefield 3 is getting an in-game server browser, something that is usually obligatory with PC games. Except … the feature is exclusive to consoles. The PC version has to use the Battlelog home page, with no in-game browsing allowed.
Senior gameplay designer Alan Kertz has gone so far as to say that there won’t be an in-game menu at all on PC, with everything done through a Web browser. He says that it acts as the in-game menu and that you can jump straight from the service into a game with no inconvenience.
*The problem people have with this arrangement is that you won’t be able to look for new servers while playing an existing game. You’ll have to quit out, go to your browser, pick a new server on the Battlelog page, and re-enter. As you might expect, this is getting a fair bit of criticism from fans. *
While it’s not the end of the world, it does seem like an overly complicated, roundabout way of doing things. A simple in-game browser would be so much more convenient. Still, EA hasn’t really been about consumer convenience lately, not when there are proprietary services to force down our throats.
I said Wut?
What if your internet is out? How do you play if you can’t get to the server? No in game menu it says…Am I misunderstanding?
With BattleLog as the main menu, it would be redundant. You do everything (on PC) from BattleLog

Playing BC 1 right now
Everythin inside building is so fuckin dark!
I know they took a different route with Bad company and BF…
Just hope I don’t experience this!
PS… is Navel Combat in the pc too?
You playing on a HDTV? Adjust your gamma levels. And maybe even tweak your darkness/contrast.
There are attack boats in BF3. Seek out the ‘Fact Sheets’ I believe they’re posted in this thread in previous page or earlier.
EDiT ‘Fact Sheets’ are located bottom of Page 2.

nope…
Standard with component plugs…
adjusting the TV with the TV settings isn’t helpful either…
I need an HDTV, but yeah, no job= not yet
BUmp
I really hope they punish team killers
BF: MC
and BF: BC1 was a huuuuge hassle
lmao, its funny on accident, or halo style when you drive off a cliff, but fuckin people would make it a mission to kill you…
The likely hood that some asshole takes some accidental death or kill (of teammates) or what have you, is
like 1 in 10 games (or more) or so and usually it’s just a between 2-3 players. It does suck when you get involved, but it’s
not some rampant issue. I always find it funny when it carries over to a new map, particularly Acta Non Verba (foggy map
with bridge in the middle/BFBC) and TKing for some odd reason (set server side?) is impossible.
You will have your servers in BF3 that will cater only to ranked players and then unranked (FF turned off). Players
will have their choice of what to dive into.
Don’t get me wrong though. I am no fucking fool and I despise a fucktard teammate who isn’t paying attention. I will
fucking teamkill you to get your stupid ass out of my tank, or put mic on to tell you GTFO. Those players deserve it.
