Sup yall not sure if this has been discovered yet but I have been screwing around with the mortar lately and I found a way to just rain hell on everyone. You just have to switch between frag and smoke after every shot, by doing so you will always have one of each stocked by them you switch back to the other. What I mean is fire off your frag then switch to your smoke right away and you can launch that one then switch back to your frag and it should have replenished by the time you do switch back. If you find the rythem you can keep raining shells on the enemy as if there was another guy next to you. I need to mess around a bit more with it but one round i managed to fire off both of them in less than a second apart. Got me 3 kills with that one lol. I play on pc btw but im sure it would work on 360/ps3 as well. oh yeah tag is adarksil peace

of brand new players (low ranks) and not a single one of them had the bright idea to pull out their Stingers. That dude
just had ‘free’ round was all.
IMO, helos are, again, the most powerful vehicle in the game, in any map, assuming the pilot can fly/shoot/aim. With
a gunner? And possibly thermal view? Times 10.

What’s a good Helicopter load out anyways?
Depending on your map/mode…it really can change. It’s nearly impossible to give you a 100% answer either as there are
so many ridiculous unlocks that can/will change the way your aircraft attacks/defends. My best answer would be
to best see what suits you. You’ll probably, over time, mature those settings into different settings later on.

Oh man, flying the jets on the PS3 controller is a million times easier. I’m loving motioninjoy right now. Custom drivers that let my PS3 controller emulate a 360 perfectly, though I didn’t like the initial layout (pretty much everything mapped to the right stick), I’ve got it setup to my enjoyment, now, and I’m killin em in the sky.

Was kinda questioning the usefulness of shotguns in BF3, till i unlocked the m1014. Looove it. loved it even more when i unlocked extended mags. Also saw a teammate flying the helicopter inside the cave of Damavand Peak, well it wasn’t really flying, just hoovering on the ground. He made it to the other end.
I was just playing couple matches of TDM and it’s by far the most random mode they decide to put in. The spawns are just everywhere and you don’t get a lot of points at the end of the matches. TDM is so useless unless you just wanna level up your gun.

He’s not. I’ve done that to people on Op Metro from behind and the throw range is still a joke…still fun to do though even if you do kill yourself.
Well, they’re more of a defensive weapon, not an offensive one. So the throw range is ok for what its suppose to be used for.
Man, Ive been sick for the last week and havent played for the entire time. I think im still like lvl/rank 5 or 6. Im starting to feel better though so I’ll probably start playing some more this week. I dunno though, demon’s souls has me hooked. Oh damn, Skyrim comes out this week. Maybe I wont be playing BF3. For a long while.

Depends, usually I run At Mines and RPG’s. Regular RPG are far more usefull then the Javelin as you can target soldiers as well and you get more of them. My usual setup is
G36C with Grip/Suppressor/IRNV Scope
MP443
At Mines
RPG
Explosive or Squad Explosive
That is an offense Eng class as you will be spending most of the time on foot blowing shit up and you will blow shit up. I got my At Mines dog tag like 5 days ago. The thing with At Mines is they never go away the whole game unless they get blown up. Between my RPG and Smaw I have over a 100 kills as well. Generally if you are playing Conquest take a fast vehicle like a buggy or Growler and haul ass to a middle objective and start playing mines everywhere. Running Exp or Squad Exp is essential to this, it gives you 9 rockets and I believe 6 At Mines to place.

other wise run the repair tool and ride shotgun(gunner) in most vehicles…
Always a good idea to place mines somewhere but I gained a lot more xp with the tool, only cuz I’m not as good.
I use IR too, cuz it rules, 
I used RDS for so long it took me about 3 games to get adjusted to the IRNV. I will say though the RDS is much better for close range fighting if you have to ADS. I highly recommend the G36C once you unlock it, it is a beast even at range. Once you learn to burst fire it the kills will rack up.
