i was playing a game and we were attackers and like 4 or 5 dudes were sitting way in the back of the first area trying to snipe so me and my squad surrounded them and all flashed our flashlight in their faces to piss them off. it was fantastic

I direct impacted dudes with it and it did nothing. They took like 50 damage tops and that is without Flak. Trust me I can tube anything, shit just sucks.
Edit: Used the grenade launcher unattached from the weapon and it worked much better.
GGs last night up until the guy running around who was immune to bullets knifing our team and planting. And he knew people couldn’t kill him cause he would sprint at you without a care.
A-94 is an odd weapon.
Sooo… I just played Caspian Border… for about 3 hours straight. Even had a match where we came back to win it by 1 point!! The map and gameplay is fucking awesome!
Anyways, at first I was worried about the “large scale battles” thinking it would take me 2 hours to get to the action, while just getting 1 shotted by a tank and waiting or respawn. Man, was I wrong.
First, just by ignoring squad respawns and beacons, the bases are always stocked with jeeps, so it takes no time to get back in the action.
Second, I enjoy how the map is “divided”. What I mean by that is that, theres sections where it’s very hard to get to with vehicles, while others are very opened, making the infantry everyone’s bitch. Some are mixed. So if you enjoy vehicle combat, you will get plenty. I got in as chopper gunner and we took down shit hard. 3 people in a jeep? LoL, deadly and hilarious. Tanks are always strong. But then you can also go on foot, pretty much “inside the metro” style. I really enjoy the UMP (laser sight, RDS, suppressor) and I was scared that its short to medium range will be useless in Caspian Border (The map is really fucking huge), but nope, not even 2 min in and I was 6/0, owning bitches on foot left and right. So there’s something for everyone.
Im fucking hyped for this game!
So far after using about 5 different shotguns, the 870 is still the best one. And lol at Cawi assuming every quick plant was me, and then saying Akimbo can’t do that. Of course it was me, recon ninja plants ftw.

Last day of the Beta so just for the hell of it thought I would post my stats.
W/L ratio is 1.95, it was over 2 then I quit playing Recon for acouple days and it dipped back down.
K/D is 1.2 average really, it was steadily on the way up but doesn’t really matter.
Score a min was 366 which has also risen pretty much everyday.
SVD 251 Kills
M40A5 238 Kills
UMP 45 186 Kills
PWD-R 178 Kills
870MCS 176 Kills
Recon by far has the highest score with 286,191. I got a 100 kills with all the sniper rifles but the SV98 and the last one because it glitched and didn’t unlock. Got a 100 kills with the MP443 Tactical as well.
I have heard rumors they are nerfing the UMP 45 after this beta, if this is true it is an overreaction. Yes it is good, but it is not OP. Yeah you see it everywhere but it is a SMG that can be used across all classes. Might as well nerf the P90 to for having a 50 round clip.
Flashlights should not work outside for obvious reasons. I also think they should have some kind of meter on them, so you can’t just blindly run around with it the whole time. If not that at least have the ability to toggle it off and on.
