The official bad teachers thread

But only men rape, remember?

She does look like she’s 13 herself; had me fooled.

Should there be a mandatory age of 25 and older in order to be a teacher or work with kids?

I always have said that people in their early 20s aren’t far enough removed from their teen years to be able to teach middle/high school kids. When I was in high school every early 20s teacher there was banging a student and not getting caught. One dude even married the student he was banging after she graduated. Lol.

Also of note just a few years ago a 23 year old substitute teacher who used to go to the same school got caught banging a 16 year old dude and nothing happened to her because everyone in my bumfuck nowhere hometown was just like ā€œAww that poor young girl just made a mistake.ā€
Then of course if you look at a post I made in this thread not long ago about the former Miss Kentucky from my hometown sending nudes to her 15 year old student. Everybody had the same ā€œShe made a mistakeā€ reaction just because she was female. Still didn’t stop the town from removing all mention of her celebrity though. Lol

I’ve heard that in Sweden only women can be Primary School teachers because they believe that men are far more likely to sexually abuse children.

How many male pedophiles don’t make the news because they aren’t titillating though?

Like, we hear about a lot of women, but they’re usually attractive and generate web clicks.

I hated teachers for absolutely useless tasks they gave. No one cares about a every single topic of standard essays they assign. It’s a shame I figured only in college that it’s cheap to buy it. Just check it https://domyessayright.com/

I heard from a friend, who was going to be a teacher before realizing it’s a shit career path, that you’re required to do some online training these days where they tell you why having sex with students is bad.

I’m studying to be a teacher myself and what I"ve noticed from some peers is that there are a fair few that only are becoming teachers for the potential power trip rather than any desire to actually teach students. Which is why so many of these cases crop up.

Creepy, but not too surprising I guess. I feel like that’s going to become more common when that’s the only benefit to becoming a public school teacher in the U.S.

Yeah pretty much everyone I know is all but begging me to choose something else to do.

That’s a dumb reason because especially these days, there isn’t that much power involved.

Yeah it’s also incredibly stupid to fuck your students and yet this thread exists with hundreds of examples so…

Idk about that. I had plenty of teachers that got off on abusing their authority to punish students they didn’t like or agree on things with.

A lot of our laws were made at times where a 24 year old was a lot ā€œolderā€ in terms of where they were at in life. A lot of 24 year olds now are basically older teenagers in a lot of ways, and while I think you’re always going to have people messing around with students, I think the fact that a lot of younger teachers especially feel a lot closer in age to their students than they did in the 50s or 60s is part of the problem.
