Currently I’m driving an Nissan Altima 98 GLE and it’s garbage. I hate the leather seats because it gets too damn hot, its too slow and its small. I was thinking of investing a hatchback since its more roomey and has style. Here’s the choices I’ve came up with
I’m looking to make it fast, however after doing some research I’ve realized that I don’t want the Integra anymore. I did my research and I’ve realized that it’s just not worth the risk. My brother had a 93 Civic and people would try to break into that thing very often. I wouldnt want to go through that headache.
Righ Now I’m considering a 1995-1999 Toyota Celica. Does anyone know how much something like this would cost?
Also I’m open to take suggestions, I want a car that’s extremely customizeable as far as modifications are concerned (Integra-esque) not too expensive (stock)and is not ugly.

240sx. i prefer the coupe looks wise. now i’m not a gearhead but this is what i know via google and forums- it’s a really popular platform in japan and the us so mods are gonna be easy-pickins. as far the engine you can swap an sr something for great hp at a nice value, or if you realllly wanna a be a cool guy, use a skyline engine. (someone did taht in town)
Well at least the Celicas hasn’t been overplayed and riced to death like the Civic/Integra. My guess is you could get a 6th Gen Celica for fairly cheap considering the 2000 models run for about $8,000 at minimum.
Ummmmmm seriously - 7th Gen Celica’s are a VERY pretty piece of SLOW fiberglass I’m afraid. :sad:
They would kicked ass if the had a AWD version…or more then 140HP @ the fuckin’ CRANK - my STOCK 17 year old car can kill a 7th gen celi EASY.
The last GOOD Celicas that the US got were the 5th Gen Turbo All-Trac’s, if I had a Celi it would be a 3rd Gen CeliSupra or a 5th Gen All-Trac, you can’t fuck with those cars.
Ya funny you talk about the Alltrac cause I’m riding in one now. Imo they’re ok the AWD is pretty tight in corner but serious understeer too.
I have the JDM 3SGTE motor, tranny, and turbo in mine though I think it’s like 225 hp stock so it’s got some decent pick up, can keep up with Turbo II FC’s.
I’m really thinking about trading it for a 240 cause I’m really itching to get sideways again. Or if I can’t find a decent 240 just sell it and get a 2000-2002 civic. I don’t really have time to work on cars anyway cause I need to focus on my studies:wasted:

Well, the POlice have stepped it up in renton. I used to go where they would all meet up at gas station but never raced because the fastest thing there was a turbo integra and he too didn’t race anyone. The cops knew the deal too so it was rather dumb.
But, I have just ran into a random assortment of cars. All of which I burned with no problems. I was actually going to go for 500hp with a new turbo, but since I don’t ever go to the track and everyone is afraid to get raped on the streets I’ll just stick with my current power level. I can beat STI’s and now I need to go to intec and get retuned to run more boost.
you mean by all the gas station by greatwall and staples and shit? yea cops still down there now but it like someone yell out a track everyone mobb down there and then we get like maybe 30-45mins of races off then cops come everyone scatter then everyone meet up at random gas station and it just repeat untill like 4-5am when everyone goes home. There better cars then turbo teg there now there plenty of Sti a few evo and some muscle cars but for the most part still the same old usual of rsx with a shietload of hatches
