Favre, easily for me, and this is no disrespect to the Badddd Maaannnn that he is Aaron Rodgers, because having two Elite Calibers one after another would be a welcome problem for any NFL franchise.
That said however, it seems a lot of people (not stating those here) have forgotten just how Dominant #4 was during his prime and seemingly only remember his “last years” in the league where he clearly was no longer the Beast he was in the 90s.
In 5 straight years this guy had 33td, 38td, 39td, 35td, 31tds in an era that was harder to throw the ball then it is today where clearly they have catered to the passing game. He won 3 straight MvPs, which is a feat that still stands.
He helped to bring the Packers out from the gutter, because Pre-1992, the Packers were an absolute garbage team, and had ONE Playoff victory since the Lombardi Era, not to mention I’m probably bias towards him since I watched up growing up as a kid into my adult years. Remember, back in 1992 when Favre took the helm I was like what? 10-11 years old?
Also, the other fact that I live in Green Bay and back in the mid-late 90s I went to high school with the Packers GM at that time Mr. Ron Wolf’s son, Eliot Wolfe. We both were in the same year and Eliot was a pretty cool dude to talk too since even though his dad was well known and they were wealthy, he never acted that way in front of me, nor spoke to me in an elitist manner.
Just a bit of info, but for me personally, definitely Brett Favre, because of course I’ll have a bit of bias, but also the fact that although Rodgers is flat out Ridiculous, Favre had a charisma that was simply far more enjoyable to watch.
