He played pretty well in the pre-season, the Bengals just didn’t have enough room for another DT. Hopefully someone signs him. Then again there are hundreds of new free agents on the market now so teams that really do want someone can afford to be picky.

He’ll be the starting punt returner and the third receiver in the shotgun. Hayne will probably catch punts as well but Ellington is faster so depending on schemes he’ll get preference. Jimmy T likes Ellington a lot but Boldin / Smith are firmly 1 and 2 wideout.
