So Dez is still threatening to sit out if a new contract isn’t given to him by Wednesday. Let’s see if he has the balls to go through with it if the Cowboys call his bluff (which they probably should).

The problem is he has absolutely no leverage if Wednesday passes and he doesn’t sign. Cowboys couldn’t give him a big contract even if they wanted to at that point. Instead of how Emmitt Smith had the Boys by the balls when he sat out for two games and they had to pay him, all this is going to do is piss off Cowboys management. They’ll be more likely to suspend his ass if he follows through. Dez is going to have to realize that he also can’t afford to miss half a season of paychecks.

If they have the balls to suspend him then he’s gone. I don’t think they cave and give him a new contract, but it wouldn’t surprise me if they agree upon one in principle by Wednesday to appease him.

With Demarco gone Dez IS the offense so…not alot Jerruh can do anyway except call his bluff.

If the locker room is really behind Dez like the rumors say they are, you can’t exactly show them you don’t take care of your players either as that’s equally detrimental.

Shareece Wright earning some decent money this year on a one year deal.

I was never super impressed with him at the Chargers. Hopefully he can perform, it would be nice to have a decent corner again. Losing Brock early in the season last year hit the side hard. The Niners defence took a few huge blows last year.
