It will probably be a rough season but there are a lot of good, solid young players. I’m cautiously optimistic that we’ll turn things around. Some of that shit that has happened people have made way too big a deal of because it’s come along with everything else. Like Gore is way past his prime and Hyde seems ready to step up big. We got Bush as a receiving back threat and Torrey Smith is a massive improvement over Crabtree. Justin Smith wasn’t going to keep going at 35 and we plugged that with Arik Armstead first round of the draft.
Davis and Borland are bigger losses. Having Bowman back is good but I’m worried about the OLine especially because they keep talking about running the ball and that isn’t happening with a shit OLine.

9ers are saying they’ll use Hyde and Bush 50/50 at running back. They have five options but those two are the main ones. I think Hyde is more the power running threat like Frank Gore for short carries and they want to use Bush more as a receiving threat.
Lots of talk about getting Vernon Davis back into the offence. They seem excited by Blake Bell as well so I imagine the tight ends will receive a few plays.
